A must have for the acne prone

Quick Take: great if you know what you're doing, not for a novice
If you have acne you can pop a pimple like a pro. Well I can especially with this tool. I've noticed alot less scarring since using this tool, especially with lancing whiteheads(gross). i use the extractor right after a good shower w/ damp skin, use alittle crushed asprin afterwards for swelling @night...by morning i'm good as new.

This is a must have for people with larger pores. It works like a charm. After a warm shower, head to your mirror and get those pesky blackheads out easily without leaving an ugly mark on your face.

The extractor is so small it is hard to get it in the right place. This only worked on the largest of whiteheads. You also have to press so hard for it to do anything. I do not recommend at all.

This is a dangerous tool. It should be in the hands of professionals. It caused damage due to my inexperience. Even with steaming the face the ring portion did not do as advertised. The lancet is very sharp. I cannot recommend this.

Quick Take: awful, ineffective, user-hostile, absurd
The handle is so long that it makes the lancet almost impossible to use while looking in a wall mirror. With a standing or hand-held mirror, it fares better, but is still very difficult to effectively angle. It would be much more functional and user-friendly if the handle were shorter. As it is now, however, it is a joke to use. This is a shame, as the lancet and the extractor are both quite nice . It would be an ideal tool if the handle were shorter. I would give this less than 1 star, if I could.

Quick Take: effective
Before taking the time to write a review I wanted to see what other people said. I used to have extremely severe acne and visit the dermatologist's office once a week. They actually used a device like this followed by thirty percent glycolic acid treatment. It works well. I only use the blackhead extractor. I don't have any use for the lance BUT!!!!! for those of you who wrote a review and said it wasn't sharp??? Mine is nearly as sharp as a scalpel! Do be very careful with that end and don't lose the provided cover. Other than that it's made of excellent quality German Stainless and should last as long as you may need it.

Don't waste your money. This barely lances a huge whitehead let alone any blackheads. Unless your blackheads come out easily (in either case then even for that you don't need this tool) DO NOT BUY THIS. The lance part is thick and barely punctures anything unless you pick and pick and that defeats the purpose of using this tool. Biggest waste of money, so upset!

I am not one prone to break outs, but when I get one I want to get rid of it ASAP! Picking causes scarring, leading me to this complexion extractor. I have only used it twice since purchasing, but find that it does help elimintaing whiteheads a little quicker. But be careful...it is sharp!

This was the only thing that FINALLY cleared up that one pimple that never quite "ripened" enough to pop and go away. I pierced it (carefully cleansing before and after) and sealed it with acne medicine. In a few days it was gone, at last!

I adore this product and use it regularly for those blemishes that need to go away RIGHT NOW, as well as for blackheads, which squeeze out with refreshing ease thanks to the looped end. However, I understand that it's very dangerous, and I use it with only the most care and expertise. If you don't trust yourself with it, don't buy it.

The extractor works well. The lance is not sharp enough to really lance things without doing a lot of pressure related damage to your skin.
