Quick Take: harder than you think
I got this product becuase I thought I could extract black heads as if I'm getting a facial done at a spa...
However... I'm not skilled... it didn't work so well..
BUT! it was better than using my fingers to extract black heads...at least it didn't leave scars on my face.. that's why I decided to keep it.. I'll have to practice more..

Doesn't Work

Quick Take: bad, too expensive
The hole in the extractor end is too large, and unless you've got the largest blackheads in all time, it probably won't work. It just doesn't get close enough to the blackhead. Most of the time if I press at all it just irritates the skin around the black head, even though I don't press too hard. It just makes things worse, basically. I'm going to look for one with a smaller hole.

Be sure to steam first!!!

This didn't come with any kind of instructions so I forgot that I needed to steam first to open up the pores and managed to do some nasty damage to my skin with it. So... be sure you're comfortable with the technique and procedure for using this tool before you try it the first time! It's adequate for the job but not as effective as I was hoping it would be. I have somewhat delicate skin that gets damaged easily and I think this tool might just need a lighter, more professional touch than what I can do for myself.

Quick Take: easy to use, if u know how to use
I love it, so does my bf. He actually was more upset that it wasn't available for a short while then I was, when I lost it during travel. But it's a great tool, I think if you have never used this kind,it's important to ask a sales person or even google "how to?" Because you can do some serious damage, especially with the lancer end. Other wise, it's great!!!

LOVE that this tool is readily available to purchase. Four of five stars because the extractor side is too thick for me and the hole is too small. I have it thinned out and the hole enlarged for easier extraction with more precision. The lance side is just how I like it. Don't ever stop selling this product.

I unfortunately suffer from pores that are both large AND deep--all over my nose, cheeks, and forehead. I've used other extractors in the past and, unfortunately, the metal loops have bent from the pressure I've had to apply (before the blackhead was completely extracted, too). This extractor, though, is super sturdy and you definitely do see the money reflected in the product quality. In fact, because of how solid it is, I've finally been able to go after blemishes that I had given up hope of taking care of. Definitely a necessary tool if you suffer from acne--I just wish that I had started using this back in high school instead of now suffering through the damage I caused my skin through picking and frustration at my acne. When using this, it's definitely easier extracting after a shower; I just keep the steam and moisture in the room aaaand... voila! Super easy. :)

Quick Take: too long
The lancet is really great but the extractor is not very good. Would opt for one with a different extractor head. I also think that it is too long which makes getting close to a mirror and using it difficult.

Quick Take: easy to use, effective
For those of us who can't help pick at our face this tool is the best thing ever! It helps pop the whiteheads and secret the bacteria oils from beneath the skin.
After using this I recommend dabbing the area with alcohol and then leaving it alone until it dries. I like to put Clean & Clear Advantage Popped Pimple Relief Drying Paste before it dries.
