Works great. Last all day without eyeshadow primer. I have had the same one for months and still haven't even made a dent in it. You only have to use just a tiny amount. Worth every penny. Definitely a must have for the makeup bag

If you are looking for the blackest black of eye shadows and the glitter that should go ON your eyelid, then Night Breed has come to your rescue! It is super black with tons of small silver glittery sparkles and it SHOWS! I love it!!

I use this shadow all over my eye area from my lash line to my eyebrow and then add color. Blends easily with any other color added and is a good base color. I have been looking a light color like this for a while

Another home run for NARS. I love Strada. This works so well with my other colours. It is highly pigmented and lasts without creasing. I love this colour and it mixes well with so many others.

I love this colour. I mix it with some of my other pinks and it just gives a polished look. Highly pigmented, goes on easy and lasts. Great color to start with if you are unsure about this fabulous line!

Lola Lola is a great colour to mix with others. I use it with other browns and some pinks. It's easy to work with and I use it with a wet brush to intensify the colour. Can't go wrong with a NARS eye shadow!

The color I bought is cypress. Perfect color for my skin tone. My skin tone is light/medium. I did not want a matte or a glitter. This is a perfect color if you want a natural look. The eye shadow stays on alll day.

I love Nars eyeshadows! They go on so smoothy and when used with the NARS eye primer, they stay on all day, even on my oily eyelids. So far, I have these in Mekong, Lola Lola, Persia, Daphne and Night Flight and they look incredible. I'm looking to add more to my collection but the ones that I really want, Sephora doesn't carry. Night Flight isn't too glittery and it won't end up on your cheeks, I can't say enough great things about this eyeshadow!

My first experience with NARS shadows was great. I bought the singles Ondine, abyssinia and strada.& the duo Rated R and loved them both. I had spotted this the same day and went back for it after I tried out my first purchase. I am so disappointed! :O( The teaster in the store had a TON of glitter which I loved because I was buying it for a special occasion. The tester was also silky and a gorgeous peachy color. I was thrilled! It was exactly what I needed!What I ended up with was chalky and AWFUL and the only glitter in it ended up all oer my face and not one speck brushed on to my eye. I tried swiping it on the back of my hand and still nothing but chalky beige colored powder. This is what I paid 25$ for? No thanks. The second duo I bought (sugarland) was also chalky and awful. This likely marks the end of my exploration into NARS eyeshadows. It is shame because the lipstick is so wonderful& so is the blush. I like consistency in a brand. Not fun not knowing what you are going to get & having to return things!!!

I own two colors, Biarritz and Cairo, and adore them both. Biarritz is the most perfect neutral matte beige base color ever for fair/light skin, is silky and smooth without any fallout or chalkiness. Cairo is a soft pinkish brown (not really the "rosy champagne" they describe it as), and is shimmery and sheer but buildable and makes for a great all-over lid shade for a warm neutral look.
However, I will say that the reason I haven't bought more NARS shadows is that the color payoff and finish is inconsistent (at least with an in-store wrist test), and the glittery/metallic colors tend to migrate all over the place. So these two are great but YMMV on the others, definitely test first.

I bought coconut grove and I am just head over heels! I have used this every day since my purchase as a liner. Its so pigmented that you need only a little. The first brush stroke on my eye and I knew this was money well spent. It also is great at deeping the out corner on looks, its the perfect matte, deep brown. It takes so little for the desired look, this is going to last FOREVER.

I bought the single Persia to go with the duo Bouthan. It's a beautiful brick red color that gives eyes a pop. I also love Fathom for the brow bone and Bali for eyebrow makeup. Ondine, a shimmering plum, is another favorite (probably the perfect color for any skin tone).

I have only purchased one other NARS eyeshadow (Lhasa), which I was actually kind of disappointed with. It is a beautiful color but is not very pigmented. It's difficult to get on the brush and even more difficult to get on my eye.
Then, recently, I started the journey to find a dark, matte, warm... but not TOO warm, brown to line my eyes when black is just too harsh. And Coconut Grove presented itself as my savior. Thankfully, this eye shadow is very soft and easy to apply. My only complain is it seems to be so soft there's some fallout with it, and I can end up with brown in my inner corner (not attractive).

I love Nars blush. I decided to give their shadow a try and I was looking for a neutral, wear to work color. The Sephora sales person recommended Cypress and it turns out they were right. It's a hit! I use it daily and it brightens and evens out the eye area.

I love this color for my green eyes. It is the perfect mix of purple, brown and maybe some hints of pink. The color is nicely pigmented and the staying power is good. Blends nicely with many of the colors (pinks, purples, berries) I wear every day. It's subtle enough for a crease color and can be dramatic enough for corners. Really liking it and finding myself using it quite bit!
