These shears, for being $25 are not all that bad. I am currently a Cosmetology student & my school issued shears broke. So I bought these expecting them to not be like cheapo ones from the drug store. Sadly they kind of are. I find that they pull on the hair if you are doing a fast cut, and leave a somewhat blunt cut when blending. Overall, I would recommend these to someone who is in school, but if you are out in the real world do not use them. Remember, you get what you pay for!

Ive had a few pairs before from other beauty retailers and these are by far the best they are not chinsey at all and def give u control!!!!! my hair is extremely thick yet fine like i just have alot of hair and it gets to be alot to deal with now i can style weekly with these and its not damaging :)

These shears are excellent. I really hate going for haircuts too often since it usually turns out bad, but by doing so, my side bangs end up getting really long and heavy and just don't sit right. These shears are perfect for adding some texture to my bangs to make them shorter without being too blunt. Very forgiving, can't even tell if you made a mistake. I'm really glad I found these to trim my own bangs without having to endure a few months of a bad haircut.

my thick unruly hair needs a touch up between cuts. this is the perfect answer to my dilemma. it is important for you to ask your stylist how and where to use them to accentuate your cut, not to botch it. There is a wonderful tension control piece that is adjustable to your needs. I have debated for over a year if I wanted to get this, and I am very glad it was still in stock.

Great for in between hair cuts

Quick Take: easy 2 use
My bangs start to feel heavy in between haircuts so this works to lighten them up so I can go longer between cuts. No matter what I say or how explicit I explain it stylists always end up taking off more length than I want so this way I can give my hair a chance to grow before the next person gets carried away witht their scissors.

I have natural curls that have almost too much volume, so I have to go to my hair salon to have it thinned out every 12 weeks or so. I purchased the thinning shears, and haven't had to spend an extra dime at the salon, since! They work great.

These shears are very sharp. Works very well with my fine and sleek hair. I bought these sheers just to trim MY own side bangs vs. going to the salon every month to just do that. It's very easy to handle. Basically, it's great for a newbie to use because it leaves the cut natural looking, so your boo boos aren't as noticeable.

Great scissors

I have layered hair that is fine and straight. My bangs grow so fast and I was spending WAY too much time in front of the mirror with so-so results. I used these on my bangs and am very pleased. The shears are very sharp, and adjustable. (I loosened the middle screw so i wouldn't take too much off). Makes me feel like a hair stylist!
