I've never used one of these before. This thing works great. Keeps you from using your fingers to squeeze. I like to draw out the blemish with DDF sulfur mask and then take it completely out with this tool. Works on blackheads too.

not quite sure what to make of this

i'm sure if you're a professional, with a face steamer, this would come in handy. however, a non-pro like me, likes the other extractor with the tiny hole and that has a "stabbing point" on the other end - much more efficient and easy to use than this loopy thing on pimples (i know, i know, it's for white heads and black heads and you're not supposed to pop pimples - but really, c'mon, who doesn't??)

This was the only option carried by my local sephora, but I ended up returning it - too large, not precise, and twice the price of the one made by Tweezerman, which I have since purchased at Sally Beauty Supply.

I thought this would be...relatively easy to figure out and sure, maybe a wee bit painful but ... MAN!
College did nothing to prepare me, I was outwitted by this metal stick. I did what the instructions said - didn't do anything, even though I tried really hard to extract something...I think my BRAINS would be coming out before any white or black heads. I made a mark on my face worse than any whitehead. Grrr. If this works for you, hats off to you. I sent it back.

This product definitely works which gives it 4 stars. I think the whitehead extractor works better than the blackhead side. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because it made my skin a lot worse, probably because I got a little carried away and tried to extract every little blemish I saw and didn't close my pores well enough which caused major cystic breakouts. I would recommend this product to people who REALLY know what they are doing!

I've read the other reviews to this product and had to write something in for people considering buying this or who have bought it but say it doesn't work. The key to using the product is to make sure your sking is really hydrated. Make sure your'e drinking enough water, dehydated skin makes it twice as difficult to remove blackheads. Another tip is to use this right after a shower or facial steam (hot water and a bowl work just as well as pricey steamers) after youve cleansed/exfoliated and your pores are open. It really is a great little product and much better than trying to use your fingers.

This is the PERFECT tool to have before dates, in the morning, or right before exfoliation. The Sephora blemish extractor helps me rid my complexion of blackheads that are too deep or large to be removed by scrubs or facial puffs. After using this for a few days, I noticed that my complexion became more clear, as the blackheads I removed with the extractor no longer had the chance to be huge date-ruining zits. I feel so much better with my skin smooth and clear from blackheads and whiteheads. This really cleared up my complexion and boosted my confidence!

This product works very well if you have big pores and a skin that allows blckheads to come out easily.
If you have small pores like me, you can feel some pain and not get many results as expected.
The tips are a little bit big and might not focus where you want. It requires a little training/...
Put your face near steam before using or take a shower...it helps.

I have a lot of trouble with blackheads in hard to sqeeze places, including the sides of my nose. This works great on those. Haven't had much luck on the few whiteheads I've had but I'd definitely recommend this to anyone with blackheads!

seriously addictive and satisfying but possibly damaging. Leaves red indent for a while after pressing down on skin.... not sure of long term effect. It does make it possible to push out some otherwise impossible blackheads effectively though.
