I wanted some more sifters for traveling, so I decided to pick up some of these. They are way larger than necessary, and quite a few face powders that I own are actually smaller than these. The sifter does stay put inside the jar, but the lid comes off too easily to be practical for travel.
If you are looking for a jar to put product into if your jar cracked, and you aren't planning on traveling with them, this would be a good deal. Otherwise, I suggest going to a craft store, or buying sifters from a different company.

I go outta town a lot! So transfering my loose powder and powder foudation is a must! I carry a laptop, big purse, and my makeup bag. So having to carry a smaller makeup bag was a must! So these work for me. U can even toss em' in the glove compartment bc they take lil' room.

I thought this would be great for travel, but the holes are too small, and it is difficult to fill (because the plastic piece with the holes is difficult to remove from the case for filling.)

decent little sifter

This little sifter saved my Bare Escentuals powder foundation. About half way through the powder, the plastic screw cap threading began to crack and deteriorate which prevented the cap from staying closed. It's a nice little size, convenient for travel. If Sephora makes this sifter with slightly smaller sifting holes, it would be perfect.

Not a bad jar. It would be nicer if the holes were a little smaller.
I use it for blush and if you fill it up too much, it's hard to get the powder back down. Fill it up less than half way and you can tap the excess powder down.
I use the lid to swirl powder and get an even coat on my brush. I like that it's washable and reuseable .

I purchased this because i put my Nars translucent loose powder inside. The Nars powder always spills out because of the packaging (meant to stay at
home!!) but I needed some powder to take along in
my makeup bag just in case I needed to matify any
shine. I wouldvE given it 5 stars if it was a tiny bit bigger. All in all, I'm a happy girl bc I can bring my Nars powder with me in a convenient, small containeR.
