I purchased a couple of these for travel, and for broken powder compacts. They're big enough to serve that purpose, but not so big that you can't travel with it. Very easily washable, and the threading in the lid is super secure. No complaints.

I got these to store my Ben Nye loose powders. I found puffs that fit the jar perfectly and can now apply my powders with no mess.
The size is great for storage and travel.....I only gave 4 stars since it did not come with a puff.

I use this container for my LM loose translucent powder and MUFE Super Matte loose powder. It's good, but definitely could be better. I wish this came in different colors so I could color code my loose powders. I also wish this had a tab for easy filling.

I accidentally dropped my pressed powder compact and broke all the powder into little pieces, so I saw this at sephora and order it, I like more to have the pressed powder converted in loose powder in this little jar, it its very useful and small, perfect for travel

Quick Take: good value, practical
Yes, it's a jar with a sifter. If you're looking for a jar with a sifter at a great price, this one is for you! The sifter doesn't have a way to close (like a sliding cover or such), but that's okay, for the price, I don't mind tapping the jar to get the excess back in. Great for mixing mineral base shades, or mixing a bit of diamond dust to some loose powder for special occasions.

I use a poreless perfection skin finisher (which is a powder consistency) and I needed/wanted a much smaller powder jar/sifter to put it in when I travel. The original jar is rather big and this is perfect, especially when packing to travel by airplane.

I bought this so I could break up the remains of pressed powder in a compact that you never can totally get out with a brush or sponge. I plan on crushing it into loose powder. This way there is no waste.

Quick Take: very easy to use
The first time that I had ever bought makeup from Sephora I came home and dropped it. I was extremely upset! The next day I went back to buy a new one but I also bought this to see if I could salvage any of the other makeup. It worked perfectly!
