Beautiful Product - But Not For Oily Skin- 10.31.09

This has great coverage and is a snap to put on since it is easy to work with. It dries the same color it went on. Unlike some of the reviewers, I like the fragrance very much and don't find it heavy or overpowering. I don't like heavy perfumes, either.
The cons on this product are that is disappears very quickly into skin that is very oily. I would have to reapply this several times a day to get full coverage on my oily skin. It does not cause breakouts, however, it just soaks in quickly.
I think if you do not have oily skin this is a superb concealer product. It covers significant scars very easily and does not cake or look like a plastering job. It is extremely creamy so it slides right on where you need it. It covers rosacea problems perfectly.

Talk about real coverage! I don't have bad skin, just some dark patches here and there and the Dior Hydrating Concealer truly blended into my skin tone and make my skin look flawless-you need verrrrry little to make a dramatic difference which is good because this isn't the least expensive concealer out there. It's just the best!

It did what it said, but you need some tricks!- 09.03.09

This product really did what it advertised on the website. However, you need to know how to apply it correctly! The first time I used it, I just applied a small amount of it under my eyes and did what I usually did with concealer (because I suppose it is the same as other concealers) But my first trial went all wrong!! It looked so thick under my eyes and made my make up look unnatural & thick. Anyway, I learned how to apply it correctly in the end, and it gave me such a natural and light look!! The trick is don't just damp the small amount of it under your eyes and DRAG AND PRESS it like other concealers. Put a small amount on your wrist, then use your middle/ ring finger to tap and spread it on your wrist until the cream spread out thinly on your finger. After that, just tap it under your eyes in the darkest area first before go on closer to your eyes. (this is to avoid making the area right under your eyes look thick) Add more, if you need more coverage in the same way. It has work wonderfully and beautifully under my eyes (P.S. I had such a panda eyes due to wearing glasses too much and my gene or whatever.) I hope this is useful to you all!!

Almost Perfect- 08.28.09

I went in to Sephora wanting another Vincent Longo cream concealer but it was discontinued! Of course the girl in Dior apron suggested this. As she said, it's really perfect for around the eyes. Extremely light wearing but great coverage, you can't feel it at all. It makes the tiredest eyes look very perky. Doesn't work as well for blemishes, but I would definitely buy it again. It's Dior, of course it works! Has a nice light scent too, and will last a long time because you only need a little bit.

Shades are too dark for the very fair (redhead).- 08.13.09
I selected the lightest shade recommended for fair skin. When I used this concealer it was way too dark. Initially I tried to use it sparingly as a spot concealer, hoping that it would at least camouflage these discolorations. After applying the concealer I set the product with translucent powder. This product didn't even stand up through my morning commute to work without traveling into creases and pores. Thoroughly disappointed, I returned it.

Quick Take: lightweight
I have dark circles under my eyes and I struggle to find good concealers. Most people don't understand how dark my circles are and recommend less effective products. I got a recommendation by a lady at Bloomingdales but she was all out of the product. Thanks Saphora!
