As an insomniac, I was excited to try this product. It goes on very smoothly, makes your skin very soft, almost powdery. I did wake up pleasantly surprised. My face was clearer (not mottled or dull like it probably would have been otherwise) and softer, seemed plumper and more alive. Makeup seemed to go on better the next morning. (I did not wash it off, had showered the night before). I had to only give it a good rating instead of excellent due to the price and the scent. The scent is overwhelming, and I am not normally scent-sensitive. It reminded me of a cheap men's cologne. It was so strong that it did interfere with my ability to fall asleep. I got a slight headache even. And that is counter-productive with a 'sleepless skin' remedy! Overall though I would use it when I really needed to look my best in the morning. Guerlain produces some wonderful products.
