Regal and aristocratic, this subtle blend was
distilled by Pierre-Francois-Pascal Guerlain for the
Empress Eugenie, wife of Napoleon III, and led to his
appointment as purveyor of fine fragrances to the
Emperor. As tribute to its royal inspiration, the bottle
bears the Imperial Bee of the Napoleonic crest.
I bought this for my mother, but she cannot smell Imperiale at all as she can with other Guerlain fragrances.

Quick Take: amazing, classic, subtle, work appropriate, elegant
Absolutely lovely gently citrus with a piney-rosemary base. Extremely subtle, and classic.
