I do buy fragrances without smelling them first based on descriptions and reviews, so when I find a great one- I of course would like to share the information. This is a great cologne. Unique, Organic and Strangely Metallic, Warm, Spicy, and Masculine.

I met this guy I was totally not attracted to and he ask me out and I said yes, because as crazy as this sounds I was attracted to the way he smelled. I finally asked him about the scent of his cologne and he said it was Givenchy Xeryus Rouge. Swoon, I love the smell of this cologne. We now hang out often and he lets me sniff him and we both get a good laugh when I do that. LOL!

I find it impossible to resist my husband whenever he wears this! It is sexy, sophisticated, & masculine. It has great staying power but isn't so powerful that you feel nauseous. It's delicious & wonderful.
I also like that it isn't worn by everyone...I don't want every guy I see or work with to smell like my hubby, especially when it makes men smell this darn good.

Back in the day I used to give this as gifts to my boyfriends, but I love the scent so much I wear it myself. The red pepper notes add just enough femininity to get away with it.

Quick Take: masterfully formulated
Obviously from the headline, Xeryus Rouge, is my most favorite of all time. It truly does have a VERY passionate scent. One, mostly would attribute, passionate, with musky tones, but Givency was able to pull back just enough as to not have that often too overpowering natural animal scent of musk overtake the whole bouquet. I normally do not use this cologne once the weather warms, I tend to move towards the softer scents, but even after 13 years I still never hestitate ti dap on my Xeryus Rouge. I guarantee plenty of positve remarks. Ciao!

Love this stuff! Great classy scent. Not overbearing yet lasts all day (my husband works 24hr shifts). Discovered it years ago on a SA's recommendation and it's been my favorite since. My husband only recently requested a different cologne (he's been wearing this for ten years now and figured it was time for a change). Sadly, we have yet to find one we like as much as this.

My husband got this as a sample when I bought him Pi. I like it better than Pi!! It lasts for hours, but doesn't really drift to far from the body. So you don't smell it from across the room, which is what I like.
