Sephora Glitter lipstick

Quick Take: all kinds of goodness
I was looking around for an item to make the free shipping on a recent order and I found this one. I figured for 5 bucks I could take a chance. I'm pretty glad I did. This lipstick is incredibly creamy and has quite a rich (#22 chocolate with gold glitter) color. I though the glitter might be too much but is really more of a shimmer.

Quick Take: ok
The lipstick broke in half, halfway through my use of the lipstick. I enjoy the feel and the look of it on my lips, but that stability of the lipstick is not the greatest, but for $5.00 I guess it's what you pay for. Lancome lipstick has been the BEST lipstick I've ever purchased and never came apart and will stick to that brand.

Quick Take: not what it seems
Although I love the Sephora Brand in and of itself, I was not impressed with the Glitter Lipstick. It was barely visible and came off instantly. I ended up giving it away.
I hope somebody else has better luck :-)

Very moisturizing

This is a great lipstick. It is incredibly moisturizing, but also quite light. It does wear off a bit quicker than I hoped, but the color is fabulous and rich.

Love this one! The glitter is not "over the top" as often is the case with glitter-infused lipsticks. And it has a wonderful consistency as well--not dry, almost could be called a gloss. No remorse here and will buy again.

So I decided to try this product because it was only $5. Unfortunately, the color selection was limited so I ended up choosing a color that I don't normally wear. However, the color didn't end up being a problem. I expected the lipstick to be more glittery and sparkly, since it IS marketed as a "glitter lipstick." The color is opaque, but requires more than one coat to really show. This product is drying, so I suggest priming your lips before applying. I generally like my lipsticks to be more creamy and moisturizing than this product. However, for $5, it's not a bad deal.

There is probably a better choice

This is a great color but the lipstick itself is far too soft to be of use long term. When it arrived I assumed that the delivery company had left it in the box outside in the heat but that wasn't the case. I love the price point of the Sephora brand products but I am concerned that something else is compromised - I will likely just order a different lipstick and not this in the future.

Just the right color and texture

I purchased # 29 Glitter Lipstick this past Christmas and fell in love with it. This lipstick has a smooth, light texture that glides on your lips with ease. I loved it so much I have recently purchased # 39. Again the same great texture, feel and coverage, while making my lips feel soft and smooth. The color is subtle with a nice shine.
