Quick Take: hydrating
This shampoo is truly amazing! I have been using it for several weeks now & my hair has been much healthier and fuller! I read some of the other reviews claiming that it makes your hair dry...I haven't had that happen to mine at all! It is very watery but you do not need to use a lot. There is much less hair in the drain after each use as well. I love this stuff!!!

Quick Take: hydrating, fights hair shedding
This stuff really works! I lost more than 60% of my hair volume. I was breast feeding, had hormonal changes, working out 5 times a week. I Tried everything oils, organic shampoos, hair mayonnaise, Nexus, Nexiom, Wen, Hair one,...etc. but nothing stopped the shedding till I got this Phyto (I love it!)The best part its not expensive & last long time & you don't need to use hair conditioner after it. I do want to try Phyto leave in hair oil that has egg yolk in it! I'll let you know later about that one.
But for this shampoo would definitely recommend it!

The Best Stuff

Quick Take: hydrating, great for thin hair., great for damaged hair.
I have used almost every product there is for thinning hair, including minoxidil. The Phyto line works better than anything else for my EXTREMELY thinning hair. My hair appears thicker, shinier and healthier and less brittle and damaged. And the fact that the shampoo and conditioner cost almost half the price of almost every other thinning hair product is great. Use the shampoo, the conditioner and the ampules and you will get GREAT results.

Quick Take: hydrating, smoothing, good for daily use, my hair look thicker
Since I was diagnose with hyperthyroidism and had a treatment of radiation I started to lose my hair. I had used expensive products to help revitalize my scalp and nothing work I just started using this product and I'm starting to see some positive thickness of the hair.

Fantastic shampoo for thinning hair

Quick Take: good for daily use, a little drying but not horrible.
I have used this shampoo for about a year. I use this along with Phytocyane Revitalizing Serum every three or four months, and every six months I use the Phytolium 4 Innovation thinning hair treatment. These products have completely changed my hair. I have gone from thinning hair that was constantly falling out to thick, full hair that I just love. Washing your hair with the Phytocyane Densifying shampoo (I pour it in the cap and then it is easier to apply) makes it feel thicker and full. Then I spray on Bumble & Bumble hair spray (it thickens) before I dry, and style. It really works well together.

Too Watery

Quick Take: watery, wasteful
While I have noticed that I'm shedding less since using this shampoo I unfortunately will not be purchasing it again because the product is too watery. It's basically a straight liquid formula so imagine trying to pour a watery substance into your hand in the shower.. It's about as wasteful as you imagine. I end up having to make two attempts at pouring it into my hand, quickly adding it to my head without losing too much through my fingers and then have to contend with all the shampoo being in one area since I can't lather before getting it into my hair. Then I have to repeat this at least once more so that I have enough product to wash my whole head. I've never used a shampoo or conditioner for that matter that was so runny. Too bad because it may actually be doing what it promises.

My hair began falling out due to stress - to the point where I was shedding even when nothing was touching my head. I ended up with a bald patch on my hairline.
After a few weeks of use, my hair felt drier and began falling out even more; it tangled easily unless I used my strongest conditioner. My hair has slowly begun to grow back, but I attribute it to the decrease in my stress level these days, not the Phytocyane.
I had high hopes, but this one didn't work for me.

If you have fine hair like me, this shampoo will definitely change the texture of your hair. It makes it very dry and you'll definitely need to up the amount of conditioner you use. Because of the drying effect (and I have color treated hair), I alternate this shampoo with other products. I'm not sure if it's making my hair thicker; however, it definitely helps make my scalp less oily. I can get away with skipping a day washing my hair. But I'm not sure if I will buy this again.

Absolutely love it! I was so hesitant to wash my hair because I hated seeing my hair fall out every time I washed it. This shampoo is so mild and my hair no longer falls out when I wash.

Quick Take: amazing
I was very unsure that this shampoo would work at all, but since I had my second child, I was losing so much hair! I was losing so much hair that even my husband noticed! After two times of using this, I was able to notice a lot less hair falling out. This has been the only thing that has actually stopped the thinning and falling out of my hair.

I started using this shampoo over two months ago. I am very happy with it. Im not seeing hair growth or less thinning but when you use it as directed and wash and rinse twice it really adds volume at the root. Also, it makes my hair very shiny.

I began using this along with Phyto's hair and nail vitamin supplements, and after about 7-8 weeks now I've definitely noticed a difference. My shedding is now virtually nothing (it used to be overly excessive, as in needing to clear clumps from the shower drain at least 3 times each shower, etc.) and I am noticing tiny fly-aways that are new growth where my hair loss was the most pronounced. I had tried Rogaine, changing my diet, and a host of other things. This shampoo and their vitamins are the only things that have worked! Try it, give it some time to kick in, and you won't be disappointed. Also - I color my hair, and I have not noticed any premature color fading from this shampoo.

So, I started using this shampoo, the Phyto hair vitamins and the ampules that you apply to your scalp after washing. I've been on the regimin for over 1 month and I'm still losing a ton of hair after shampooing. No decrease whatsoever. A few new baby hairs here and there, but no thickening to speak of. It also is drying as other reviewers have stated. You definitely need a deep conditioner after. I won't be repurchasing as it has Sulphates and I think that ingredient makes my hair loss worse. It is good for flaky scalp however. Overall, it just didn't deliver regarding the thinning and massive hair loss. Bummer.

This is great for use in the warm humid weather, but even then I alternate it with another less drying shampoo because I have to shampoo my oily hair everyday. During the cooler seasons I decrease it to once or twice a week, and follow with the revitalizing serum. I can't say for sure how much it improves the hair loss, but the scalp feels a lot healthier at least. And it doesn't have an annoying smell which I find some brands do.

Shed more hair, but kept my hair oil free

This shampoo kept my hair oil free up to 3 days! My hair felt extra soft and gave a lot of volume. But for some reason, I shed more hair than I normally do with this Shampoo. Every stroke into my hair, there's always one or two strands shedding. I will experiment with this shampoo, worse case, I'll just return it. I really like how my hair feels though :(
