Quick Take: gentle, smooth, soft enough
I bought this brush for my all over shadow and I instantly loved it, this brush is nice and soft and smooth but not too soft it is really nice for applying a base color for eyes

great brush for an all over lid color

This is a wonderful silky brush that lays down an even layer of shadow for an all over lid color. I find this particular brush size and shape a little hard to find so I was delighted when I stumbled across this one. I have used it everyday since I have gotten it. Cleans well with no shedding.

Quick Take: soft bristles, applies evenly, doesn't shed, flexible bristles
This brush applies shadow evenly and effectively, and is easy to clean. The bristle are soft and flexible, and don't seem to fall out. My only complaint would be that it was hard to judge the size of this brush, and the brushhead is exactly the size of my thumbnail in width and length, when I thought it would be smaller.
Looking back, I wish dimensions were listed in the product description, but I obviously didn't care enough to ask ahead of time, and now I have a good basis on which to judge other Sephora Professional brushes. Also, I bought this brush on sale for half its price, which I feel was well worth it, but I wouldn't pay full price for it; the full price seems inflated.

Very Nice Brush for the Money

I got this one for $9 on sale. It's a good brush that lays down products well. However, I wish it was a little softer. Still a good buy for the price.

i absolutely adore these brushes, i have at least 2 of almost of of them. i highly recommend them. no shedding. soft to touch. applies product beautifully. easy to wash with brush cleaner or baby shampoo. i've had many of these brushes for over a year and they are still like new.

Quick Take: natural hair
this brush sheds and scratches my eyes. im sad because i really want to love it but it doesn't work for me. I have a small lid soo ladies with small lids should stay away from this.

Quick Take: natural hair
This is a good quality brush. Its good for an all over sweep of eye shadow. The bristles are soft, and have a good texture for applying shadows. I'm happy with this brush, and am planning on purchasing the medium size.

Works Well Wet or Dry

Quick Take: natural hair, durable
Must-have brush that I use everyday, mostly for my base colors/all-over lid color. The brush does a great job dry but an amazing job wet. Great performance for the price. Have had my brush over a year and even with everyday use and um, vigorous, washing, the brush still looks and performs like new.

i started purchasing brushes from this collection a few at a time. the ongoing friends & family sale is a great time to get yours :-D i LOVE every brush in this collection, except the stippling brush which i only LIKE, it's a little stiff for my liking though it is great for cream blushes.
i love these brushes because they are soooooo soft and can be used with liquid and powder products. i have duplicates of several of the brushes because i use them for different things. i love that they are dry in the morning, even if i wash them at night. i have had minimal to zero shedding with these brushes. after about 2 years, one of my blending brushes and flat shader brushes began to shed just a teeny bit, so i simply took it into sephora and exchanged it - not a problem. and note that i said after about 2 years!
these are great quality brushes. i just wish there was a brush roll for them. i also wish that they would make some of travel size with a brush roll, so i could carry them with me. i have tried some of sephora's travel brush sets, but i didn't like those as much as the platinum brushes - which (again) i LOVE.
i highly recommed these brushes!

i have almost all of the brushes in this collection. i absolutely adore them. the only one i'm still getting used to is the stippling brush because it's a little more stiff than other brand stippling brushes, BUT it is great for cream blushes.
i shampoo these brushes at least once per week using sephora's brush shampoo. i also wipe off powder product from each brush after each use.
many of these brushes i have had for over a year and they are still like new - SO, don't be leary of the price!
the large all-over shadow brush i have, did begin to shed a very little bit, so i took it into sephora and exchanged it - no big deal.
if you are looking for an EXCELLENT quality brush set, these are for you. due to the cost, they are an investment. i recommend using the sephora friends-and-family sale to begin your collection. you will NOT be sorry!

My favorite brush! I am ordering this for my mom because mine is 3 years old and still as perfect as the day I bought it. I use it every day and when I am in a hurry I can still use this brush as an all-in-one brush for multiple shades of shadow.
