Favorite face powder brush

This brush is amazing. I love how soft the brush is and it feels luxurious on the skin. I always use it as a finishing touch with my face powder and to blend my make up to get rid of the harshness. This is another Sephora collection brush I cannot live without.

It's soft and feels lovely and is a good size, but I keep getting bristles on my face (and in my eyes) and I've been using this for two weeks. I washed and conditioned it after the first use, and it still sheds.

Quick Take: soft bristles, natural hair
I need a new brush powder brush as my bare minerals one just was cutting it with my Clinique Redness Solutions loose powder. Even though I love Sephora's Pro line, I was a little hesitant to get #41. For one I read reviews and people did not seem to be the biggest fans of this brush. However, my best friend has this brush and she told me to ignore the reviews and get it anyway.
Well, I listened to her and I'm so happy I did because this is by far one of my favorite brushes. It's so soft and distributes loose powder evenly across my face. I've never tried it with compact powder, so I can't comment on that, but my best friend uses compact powder.
It hasn't shed on me at all, and I've had it for about a year and washed it numerous times with Sephora's brush shampoo.

i am very disappointed in this brush. it is constantly shedding, despite washing it a couple of times to see if that got rid of the problem. if i'd kept my receipt i would have returned it. do not buy!

This brush is now where near the quality of the other sephora brushes- the bristles are rough and fall out leaving bristles all over your face, even after multiple washes. Try brush 55 or 50 instead- they are far superior and worth the investment.

Do not waste your money or time with this brush. It's pretty and comfortable to hold but that's it! This brush sheds like someone put Nair on it. Washed it before I used it and all that stuff. This pricey tool is a piece of garbage. Back to the store it went.

Quick Take: natural hair, not soft, not an 'airbrushed look' brush
This brush is priced high for poor quality bristles. The amount and size of the bristles are good if looking for a very large rounded, all over the face brush. However, the bristles aren't very soft and natural, not giving an airbrushed look. I didn't find it useful for powder foundation or finishing powder and ended up returning it.

I hate this brush. I wish I had spent a few extra bucks and purchased the I.T. brush. Every morning I have bristles all over my clothes and bathroom counter. A brush this expensive should not shed.

it's so fluffy and fun to use! It's all natural hair, and really soft. It puts powder on evenly and delivers just the right amount. You will never look cakey! I'd definitely recommend this brush.

Very soft brush! I needed to replace my scratchy old brush, and this one is great! I prefer to buy synthetic brushes, but couldn't find one in the size I was looking for, so broke down & bought this goat hair one. It works very well for applying loose or compact powder & doesn't irritate my skin.

just purchased this brush last month. liked it so much i bought the kabuki one as well. i have to agree tho it sheds ALOT!!!! kinda makes me wonder the life i will get out of it. but shedding aside, it really does the job and it feels fabulous!. i use this for bronzer.

I bought this brush for myself, thinking it would be AMAZING for applying powder to set my foundation. It really is!! The downsides, which completely ruin this brush for me, are that it sheds like CRAZY - I used it once, and the amount of fibres that fell out were just ridiculous, and that after I washed it (in the same way as I wash all of my other brushes), it started to smell horrible - like melting plastic and smoke from a fire. I was, as always, very careful not to get any cleaning solution or water into the ferrel, but the bristles all absolutely reek now. I have trouble using it now because of the way that it smells. I'm sad about this, and wish I could get my money back from it!

I first purchased a Sephora brush from this collection to applybmy daily loose powder. After using this brush forbone year and cleaning it on a weekly basis - I chose to purchase this to use for my blush. I continue to be impressed by the quality. I have paid less for brushes but have been dissaoointed. Love my brushes - they make my daily routine easier.
