A disappointment- 11.20.09
I had high hopes that this product would give my hair some body. However, if I use enough to achieve this, my hair looks really dirty. This is not a product for me.

Awesome!- 11.17.09
I love this product! I have used it for years (since it first came out). You can use it on any type of hair (straight, curly, wavy) and I just love the way works. You don't have to use a lot of product and it lasts forever. The smaller version even lasts a long time, so if you've been wanting to try this product, buy the smaller Dirt and you will not be disappointed.

Quick Take: easy to use
I love this stuff; I wear my hair in a spiky pixie cut and it holds up all day. My only complaint is that the scent on this is VERY noticeable--it's nice (sort of like an almond milkshake) but if that's not your thing then don't get this.

Quick Take: easy to use
Looks promising (nice smell and texture) but I found it too heavy for my (medium length, thick) hair. It left it looking.... dirty......! oh yes, maybe I missed the point!!! Anyway, other products stiffen and separate without weighing down your head...

He uses this for his "messy faux-hawk look" and its amazing! Dirt adds a lot of texture without the horrible "wet-look" shine that I despise. It has a great cocoa-butter smell, and allows you to achieve your look in seconds.

Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use, a little bit sticky
I love Jonathan's dirt paste when my hair is straight: it gives it a sexy touseled look, and great texture to create various styles ( my favorite is a beehive!).
However, the effect is not the same when my hair is curly. It just creates a straight - ish look that does nothing for me.

I got a sample of this two years ago and I had to buy it after that. It smells amazing and can be used for either curly or straight hair. I have really dry hair so it helps keep it moisturized, especially in the winter. My fiance has started using it and is hooked on it now too!!

Jonathan's Dirt Texturing Paste is good, however, you cannot use too much if you have fine hair like me. I feel that it doesn't produce the 'texturixed' look for my hair even though I have a cut that has texture (i.e. the choppy look). I will use it but won't buy it again

My boyfriend loves this hair product. It doesn't smell "girly" and it works all day long...even through sweat. We found that a lot of other pomades/pastes left his hair feeling dirty or left too much residue, but this one is exactly what we've been looking for. The best part, is that I occassionally steal some of it to help keep my curls under control.

Did not expect to like it, since I couldn't stand the guy on his show and didn't want to give him any of my money. Then I tried a sample and really loved it so I had to buy it! Gives great texture and shine. Only have to use a teeny tiny bit, so it will last a long time.

I started out using Dirt when my hair was short and couldn't do without it...Now that my hair is very long, curly and has long layers, I add a small amount of warm water to about a dime size of Dirt and rub it into a cream-like state then distribute it throughout my damp hair before I blow it straight--you won't believe the smooth, shiny results! There's enough hold to not wear any hairspray at all...
It's just the best product--I'm also a hairstylist.

I love this stuff!! I tried the silky dirt when I had long hair and, honestly, I did not like it very much. But since I've had my hair cut short (above shoulders), this has become my staple hair product! I have never been so tied to a product! This is the one thing I make sure I have before going on a trip. If I didn't have it I wouldn't know what to do with my hair. It has great hold, great, non-sticky texture, smells good, and gives my hair lots of lift and volume. What more could you ask for?
