I use this under my eyes to set my concealer. It adds a brightness to my face and guarantees my concealer will stay in place, all day. I also own Tarte's setting powder, but that feels more cakey and comes off whiter than this powder. Mercier's powder has a sparkle to it that is not due to sparkles, but just a brightness that I can't describe. I will definitely be purchasing this product when I run out.

A Must-Have Undereye Setting Powder!

Quick Take: sheer coverage
Since I have dark circles I need quite a bit of both concealing and brightening. While I use a brightening concealer (NARS radiant creamy concealer), I find it hard to tell how well this powder brightens. But, I am thoroughly impressed at how well it preserved my concealer. With the brightening powder, my concealer stays all day without separating. I've found the most effective application of this powder is a fan brush. I love this product and for the price I really do not think it can be beat. For as little as you need to set your undereyes, the brightening powder will last ages. When I do run out though, I will definitely repurchase.

This brightening powder really brightens up my under eye area and makes me look so much more awake! And I have really dark circles so it takes a lot to make me look awake and refreshed but this def does the job!

I really like this product for under the eye. I have sensitive skin that is really fair, unfortunately I have thin under eye skin that causes me to have really dark circles. This product sets my concealer really well and it reflects the light so that it looks even brighter and naturally light.

I ordered this product with high hopes that it would have a nice brightening effect.
Sometimes it looks great and my eyes do look really bright but most of the time it looks cakey. It is WAY too sparkly and I find it irritating to my eyes. I also find it hard to blend in, occasionally it will show up in pictures if I dont take serious time to blend it in. I was hoping it would be a simple and effective product but I am a little disappointed.

Totally won me over

I was a bit skeptical about buying this product mainly because of the price and I had been using a drug store version (loreal hydra perfect). But I decided to take the risk and buy it. Honestly, I am so glad I purchased this. The texture is so fine that it really does apply beautifully and it really does not leave you with those unsightly cakey looking creases like most other setting powders do. Also, the slight shimmer it adds to my under eye area is great, I love how it makes that area of my face look bright and youthful. So happy with this purchase and the price doesn't even bother me because I use it literally everyday to set my under eye concealer and it doesn't even look like I've used any of it, it's going to last me a very long time! In love!

I heard this product mentioned on a youtube beauty tutorial and was super excited to try it. In my opinion, it's a rather expensive setting powder (that doesn't make my skin any brighter). I'm more of a drugstore makeup girl, and this powder, being 20-something bucks, should have made my skin look at least 5x's better than my $4 powder compact. It doesn't. It's got a nice texture and it doesn't make my skin look worse, but it's not worth the price tag

I love Laura Mercier products. This one though is a complete disappointment. There is absolutely no difference in your eye area after application. Get a sample of this before buying if you are curious about it's effects.
