Quick Take: sheer coverage, great moisturizer, imparts a youthful glow, skin refresher
My sister works for the company and always brings me samples. When she brought me the LMSF and I tried it, I was hooked. This product did give my skin the glow. I am in my mid 60's and always told so by friends and strangers alike that I don't look near that old. At any rate. This product is wonderful with/without makeup. It both moisturizes and imparts a dewey glow (not greasy) to my skin and I will continue to use it as I have for the past three years. I have oily skin too and I find it does not make my skin oilier and I apply once a day. As a moisturizer, finishing cream or primer, it works wonderfully and I hope to continue using for years to come. BRAVO, LM!!!

My second tube. Lasts a year or so. Excellent to add some moisture undereyes, and whereever you feel dry (my skin gets dry during the day). I also rub in my hands and pat into my make up as a make up setting balm (the sprays are a joke). Give a nice dewy look; refreshens and brightens your skin

Quick Take: soft shimmer, dewey
This is probably my favorite product I ever bought on Sephora! I love this finishing cream, definitely worth the price. It gives my skin a nice dewy, young look. Like other reviewers mentioned, it adds just the right amount shimmer to your skin and looks very natural. My boyfriend keeps commenting on how nice my skin is looking these days!

This is a great finisher or a refresher after a long day. I have to be careful when applying it though as sometimes from applying it will move away some of my coverage and my acne shows through but it makes my skin look great so I am happy with this product.

Quick Take: sets your make up, feels great, helps for dry skin during day
I have tried a few of the make up mists / setters and have been very disapppointed. They spray out like a fire hose, most have alcohol and my skin is sensitive, none seem to work. THIS is a make up setter, and does such a great job I LOVE IT. Hopefully it will always be here. It doesn't add shimmer or make me greasy, just melts lightly into my skin to set my make up and makes my face feel great. As the day wears on and my skin is feeling dry, I add more and it hydrates. Highly recommended.

Okay, I am ALMOST pushing 40 and while I don't LOOK like I'm pushing 40, I just don't have that perfectly even, supple youthful skin anymore. It's just a sad fact that comes with age :(
I think that most luminizers look too obvious on me, like they are just "too much", too glittery, too obvious, don't blend well, to pink, too shiny. I have tried just about them all too.
Luckily a friend of mine who works at LM gave me a big sample of this recently, and I am SO glad Sephora is carrying it because I am buying the full size today!
The best description I would give this is it's NATURAL looking, my skin looks radiant as if it were naturally that way. It gives just the perfect amount of dewiness. I would liken it to J. Lo's skin, something I always tried to achieve with various products and couldn't come close to until now.
I like to dip it in a beauty blender sponge and just dab over my face, concentrating on the drier areas or the forehead, bridge of the nose, cheekbones, a smidge on the chin and brow bones. Perfect!
FINALLY, a dewy look for us older gals that don't want all that glitter or TOO much shimmer!
You can use it as a primer, mix it with foundation for a sheerer look, use it to set your makeup or as I stated above, use as a highlighter.
I have used my fingers to apply it over eye shadow successfully , which I think was the real test. Eye shadow stayed intact!
It blurs fine lines, it's moisturizing but not greasy at all, it definitely feels like it is hydrating my skin, nourishing it. It feels "clean".
My best friend wore it on her wedding day and absolutely glowed! Subtly ethereal, smoke and mirrors but who cares when it makes your skin look so good?!
Even though I would call this the "older ladies luminizer", you younger gals will love it too.
It has a very light, pleasant smell but my skin is pretty sensitive and it's never done me wrong. I prefer this over the secret finish powder, which I also have. *For some reason, the product description here says "extremely fine luxurious POWDER", it is NOT a powder. I think they mixed it up with the secret finish loose powder somehow.
Will definitely remain a staple!
I definitely recommend giving this a try, I think you'll love it as much as I do. If you go into sephora, just try a little on the back of your hand, hold it up to the light and you'll see what I mean! Then try it on your beautiful face and you'll be hooked.

It looked good fixing a dry spot where the foundation caked in the store during my full face make-up application. However, I have not been overly impressed at home. For $20, I would not buy it again.

I have great skin; but it runs on the dry side. I use a TM (Hourglass), concealer (Amazing Cosmetics) or concealer (Hourglass) and several bronzers. My skin can start looking drab during the day and piling on more make up or powder doesn't refresh my look. This seems to give me a nice look; I even add under my eyes right away after doing my make up. A+ for us gals with dry skin

This product is not bad. After foundation I put a little of this on my finger tips as directed and I dab it onto my face. I don't put too much on though otherwise I'm left looking a little greasy.

I just love this. I have dry skin, and this really helps set my make up (I rub a dab on my hands and fingers and press into my face). Best for undereyes, helps me with that concealer which can look really dry on me. This just wakes me up and makes my make up look fresh and alive also makes my skin feel good. Having said all that good news, downside is the cost. I have a tube of pure Aloe Very ($10.00 - huge) and find it does about the same thing. I will use this and also experiement with my Aloe to see if I can get same effects. This though - DOES highlight my undereyes so I may keep buying this and using for my undereyes and the Aloe Vera on the face and neck

I am using this several times a day. Following my minimal make up (I use TM and set with powder). It seems to re fresh my face and esp undereye area. I am wondering if a tad of Aloe would do the same thing though. It is nice for your purse, and also helps in the blending if you didn't so a great job at the start. 4 stars as it is pricey and I am not sure I see a shimmer (but have the illuminating TM so maybe it doesn't add to that)

When I first tried this (I bought it 2 months ago) I thought it was a waste of my money but never returned it. I recently tried it again and I love it! I guess I was using it wrong at first!
I moisturize and prime as usual, then apply my reg foundation (either LM powder foundation or MUFE HD foundation). I have combination skin so my nose is slighly shiny while my forehead lacks moisture.
When I feel like my face is lacking radiance or looks too powdery, dull, or too matte (unatural) I put this on and my skin looks so dewy!
What I do is I apply about a dime size on my clean fingertips and rub them together, then I PAT it on my skin (DO NOT RUB!) If you wear makeup, this will ruin it and will leave you skin streaky, that it why you have to pat onto the skin! The finish is dewy and natural. I love this! I knocked off a star because of the price. This is a luxury buy =]

Quick Take: finishing touch
This product is wonderful! It is the very last step in your make up regime. When you have applied everything you intend to put on your face put 2 pea size dots on your palms and gently apply to your entire face. You will be amazed at the difference in your face. It give a slight glow and a lovely finish to the make up you have applied. I love it!

I love this product, because it gives you nice satin natural glow. So my face looks bare like I'm not wearing foundation under this product. However down side is that it does not last long enough... So I have to carry it in my purse to continue this beautiful finish look... But it is worth it!
