Very Good Foundation

This foundation is perfect for the summer. It is not greasy at all on the face and coverage is pretty decent too. I use it in the morning with a foundation brush for a sheer finish. Love it!!

Living in hot, humid Texas, and having a face that sweats at the least provocation, foundation is an issue.
Not anymore. This foundation covers well without looking or feeling like a mask, and STANDS UP TO HEAT!!!

I like this foundation, but it doesn't control my oily skin as much as I would like it to. I use this product around my eyes as a shadow primer. The coverage is average too, not light but not full coverage.

The shade of Laura Mercier's Suntan Beige Oil Free Foundation is the most natural suntan shade you will get because it has rose tones in it, unlike other tan shades which have purely brownish tones. The rose tones give you a healthy, natural look. I love it. I've tried a lot of tan makeups and this one is the very best. Powder on a little Tinted Mineral Veil powder (finishing powder) afterward and you're good to go. But remember, always use a light touch when applying makeup. Don't go overboard. A little goes a long way. It's a little pricey but worth every penny. It wears well on older skin. It doesn't settle into the wrinkles. I won't use anything else. This makeup gives you a healthy look.

Finally, a foundation that works for acne skin

After trying at least 30 foundation formulas in the last two years, this version from Laura M. is a good fit for acne-prone skin. Not only can you get full coverage when you need it, the foundation is easily removed with a basic cleanser and does not clog the pores. I've worked with an esthetician for 2 years, and this foundation is the best so far for not settling into the pores and provoking more acne flairs. Use a disposal sponge to apply (not fingers), and enjoy the matte look. Follow with powder to set. Thanks Laura and Sephora!!!

Stays on ALL DAY! Looks good, doesn't cake or turn colors, I look as good as I did when I walked out of the house in the morning. You have NO idea how nice that is. I am just oily and there wasn't any point in buying makeup because it would just slide off my face by 10 am. Love this foundation!

Get flawless skin with the Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation. I was never able to find a foundation that didn't "melt" off my face by the end of the day or clog my pores and cause more blemishes. A friend recommended this oil-free foundation and it has completely transformed my skin. Love it!

A makeup staple

I have used this foundation (as well as several other LM foundations) for several years now. This liquid version has a nice, sheer finish, which looks best with a finishing powder. Good for everyday, light coverage.

I just love this stuff. It holds up pretty dang well - especially if paired with some spackle applied first...
The shades are quite good for me since I am one of those not quite pale and not quite medium skin toned.
I think it's worth the price - which is admittedly mid-range. Add on the Mercier translucent powder afterward and you have a perfect face.

I have used Laura Mercier products when you had to call a 1-800 number. She hadn't even been picked up yet by a retailer. I have always adored her lipsticks and own all of her makeup brushes, but this foundation is VERY difficult to apply. I consider myself pretty good at getting foundation coverage just right but this product is really frustrating. The shade match is almost perfect just wish the application process was easier!

This foundation has always been my number one favorite for years. It covers really well and leaves my skin silky smooth. Vanilla beige is a great color for olive complections. Whenever I put it on, everyone asks me what makeup I wear. DEFINETELY WORTH THE $$$$
