Quick Take: oil-free
I've been using this for years, and I can honestly say it's my favorite. The coverage is nice, goes on smooth and lasts all day for me. Plus it doesn't irritate my skin.

Great foundation- 11.11.08
I just turned 35 and lately my skin just hasn't looked as even toned and porcelain-like as it did even five years ago. (My skin is normal to dry with some wrinkles and dullness.) This foundation gives my skin that porcelain look again. It felt a bit thick and heavy going on, but once it was on for a few minutes I couldn't tell it was on.

Great foundation, requires some skill to apply- 11.11.08
Quick Take: moisturizing, great coverage!
This foundation is pretty good. I do agree that it is thick and can become cakey. It can feel like a mask if you do not put on properly. You always should apply with oil free lotion and oil free primer FIRST. Allow these to dry. Use a sponge or foundation brush to apply:
There are definatly tips one should follow when applying: 1) Apply in small areas as this does dry quickly. Apply light layers and go over as needed.
This tip goes with using a makeup brush or a damp spounge. I find I need 1-1 1/2 pumps per sides of my face then 1 pump for forehead and nose and mouth. Sometimes I use too much and just use the excess for the other side or a smaller area. It also depends on the coverage you want too. I like full coverage so I use more than the average person would. It can get cakey very fast so make sure small sections first. Apply the direction of your facial hair (yes, we all have slight facial hair) 2) A damp sponge helps! When doing it this way, I pump on the back of my hand (2-3 pumps) then apply in sections with my finger tips and barely wet a sponge and spread it with that. If needed more coverage, repeat steps. 3) Use the loose power (you do not need a lot- apply to cheeks, forehead, and chin) to set and/or brighter powder. It makes alot of difference! Avoid eye area as it can make you look funny!!
These steps have made this makeup look great! One bottle usually last me approx. 3 months. And make sure its the right tone for your skin or it will look bad no matter what!

Not Impressed- 11.11.08
I was very disappointed after buying this foundation. I wear foundation everyday and have never felt like I was wearing a mask until I used this product. Even when I applied it sparingly it felt heavy. I was given a tip to apply it with a damp sponge. I personally prefer to use a foundation brush so this was not for me. The best way for me to discribe this foundation is latex-y.

This foundation was extremely heavy even when layered lightly. It dried very quickly on my skin making it difficult to blend in and spread around. It has great staying power though, but it doesn't make you like bright and fresh.

I had heard very good things about this foundation and I was eager to try it. However, once I bought it, I was highly disappointed! The color matched my skin very well-this was the closest a foundation has ever come to matching my odd skin tone. Unfortunately, this dried incredibly quick and did not blend well. It was like trying to drag clay across my face. At first, this looked amazing and I thought my dreams had come true, but I was sorely mistaken. The first day I wore this to work I was shocked when I looked in a mirror and saw all my flaws magnified! I have combination/acne prone skin. This was very drying but my T-Zone was still quite oily and the foundation looked cakey. Works for some, but not for me.

I had high hopes for this product. I have been on a life long journey for the right foundation. Unfortunately, this makeup gave me an allergic reaction. Plus, it dried out the areas of my skin that weren't oily. And it practically slipped off my oily T zone. If you don't have sensitive, difficult skin, it might work for you.

Overall, a very good foundation. I applied it as sheer coverage with just one layer, and it did a decent job of covering my pores, etc and it evened out my skin tone. Didn't last as long as I'd like, but for nonactive everyday wear its great.

This is the first foundation I've ever found that truly stays put on my face and doesn't feel heavy or greasy, but still actually provides coverage on my face. Taking the advice of an MA, I apply it using a damp sponge and layer it on the parts of my face that need heavier coverage. The warm ivory is great for evening out my skin. Even though I have acne scars, I get compliments on my skin all the time, because this foundation is that good!

Disappointed- 10.21.08
This was a huge disappointment. I cant believe this foundation won awards. It was impossible to blend, gave minimal coverage, and my skin looked better without it than it did with it. The color match was perfect, I got it in the lightest shade, Porcelain, but it didnt matter since it looked horrible anyway. Sadly this got returned.

Bought this in 'Warm Ivory' and it was a bit too dark for me, but 'Porcelain Ivory' was sold out. This foundation can be hard to spread but it is creamy and does wear pretty well. Not for me, though.

When I acquired this foundation it was because I asked for something better than Makeup Forever's Hd foundation. I didn't think that there was anything. This BLOWS MY MIND! Incredible, flawless, matte coverage! The stuff girls dreams are made of!
