great color, kind of dark olivey, gold, black (pencil looks gold) seconds to apply, smudgeble and great staying power. Doesn't drag on lids either.

My eyes are watery and my eyelids are oily so I have a hard time finding a good eyeliner. This is definitely one of the better ones I've tried. The color black gold is really nice. My only complaint is the color is a bit lighter by the end of the day but that is not that unusual for me.

Quick Take: smudgable, long wearing
I purchased this in Brown Copper and I love the color! It is a metallic chocolate brown that reflects light quite a bit--so if you are looking for a matte, dark color this may be a pass for you.
The formula was smooth and glided on easily. No tugging or pulling, easy to build color. It seemed to last through a work day as well.

Black gold is an awesome color for fair skin and light eyes. Accents without being harsh or overwhelming. Nice creamy texture perfect for smokey eye. Only 4 stars because it has limited staying power and will migrate without a powder shadow top coat.

I have hazel eyes, this is the BEST color. It's really kind of green with gold flecks. It's perfect. It also glides on VERY smoothly. I am ordering another one, I've just about used this one up! I rarely order the same thing twice. This is a keeper!

Quick Take: not waterproof
The sales lady at Sephora told me to use a kohl eyeliner for my waterline, and i decided to try this one. I loved the color but found it coming off in 5 minutes. I ended up returning it and sticking to regular eyeliner.

This eyeliner is amazing. I am terrible at applying eyeliner but this one glides on so easily! I use the black gold color all the time. Love the sparkle in it. Highly recommend!

I've never loved an eyeliner but I do this one. I got this as part of a 500 point Laura Mercier gift. I have this in black gold and it makes my eyes look amazing. It's dark enough to make my lashes look thicker but the shimmer makes my eyes look bigger at the same time. I even wear it on my upper and lower lash lines. It's not as long wearing as a waterproof liner but lasts pretty well. I'll definitely buy again when it runs out, and maybe in multiple colors!

Quick Take: just ok
Bobbi Brown discontinued her kohl pencils except in black. I've been looking for a dark plum one to replace the Bobbi one I love. This pencil is waxier than most kohl pencils and although pigment is good, I don't like the way it goes on. It feels more like e gel pencil.

This eye liner is way too greasy for me. It glides on really nicely, but even with an eyelid primer the color rubs off on my upper eyelid. I gave it a try for a few days, but time after time it rubbed off. Way too oily for me!

I loved black gold and had to give it a try. I wanted something navy and this is a lovely deep shade, blends well but moved a little (even with primer). A nice alternative to heavy, aging black liner.

Ok black gold is amazing. It's a bronze color. Really makes my eyes pop. The only thing is I have to use a eye primer with this. I tend to rub my eyes sometimes and it will rub off if I don't use a base. Other than that it's a great pencil and I do love it. The color is amazing and it's so easy to apply. I love a pencil that glides easily without tugging my eyes.
