Quick Take: soft shimmer
I loveeeee this pen! It is the best highlighter ever and really makes your cheekbones stand out. I put a little down my nose as well so it looks thinner. only complaint is that it runs out quickly! and is kind of expensive...

This brightener does what it's supposed to do, highlighting the under eye area. I wanted this to do more to hide under eye fine lines but it doesn't really fit the bill on that front. I'll keep searching for the perfect product but if you're just looking to brighten dark circles this pen is worth a shot.

I use Laura Mercier for most of my makeup, and I typically like everything. I don't feel like this product does anything for dark circles or really does anything except add some shimmer. You could easily find something similar for less expensive.

There are many knock offs of this product but you can't beat this one, it is the original. It does a very subtle effect to the eyes that is sheer beautiful.

Quick Take: useless
When I bought this I was so excited to find a concealer that would actually cover my dark circles under my eyes so well, also bought the brightening powder to go with it. I found that this product on its own could not even cover what I wanted it to cover highly disappointing for its price. Even with the use of a concealer brush did not help. I had to use another concealer to get the effect i wanted or to just cover in general. Totally useless and waste of my money.

Very pink and shimmery

I was disappointed in this product which says it's for all skin types. I have a light olive complexion and this product looked very pink and shimmery on me. I was hoping this product would simply brighten the inside corners of my eyes but it was far too noticable. I'll have to return it.

I am trying to decide about product, therefore have never used it. I cannot get out of this "Tell us what you think" and yes to all the above you will ask, back key, clicking diff area than one I'm in but it stays right here. I know NOTHING about this product. I know I just bought her Tinted Moisturizer, brownzer (first time I've use this", Secret Camo concealer and secret brightening powder. Curious what this product is b/c I have the powder secret brightener and is this just a liquid form I did not know existed.

I've been been suffering from lot's of stress, lack of sleep you name it lately, and it has been taking a serious toll on my face. After several weeks of hearing everyone around me ask "is everything all right in your personal life?, wow you look tired?, is your blood sugar low?" I knew it was time to do something. I went to the sephora on michigan ave, and told the salesperson I need help. She immediately recommended this product and I am so glad she did! I put this on top of my secret concealer and seriously I look radiant. I've never looked this alive and flowing even when at my best... so that is saying something. Incredible product, now I won't ever live without it!

Bothered my sensitive eyes

I really love the color of this product ( I am brown haired with a fair complexion but even looked great with self tanner) It does a great job of highlighting. I wanted to keep using it but I found that time after time it irritated my sensitive eyes. I looked closely at the ingredients and believe the irritation is most likely caused by the frangrance. I am going to try brands that are frangrance free and made for senstive eyes such as Tarte or Fresh

I bought a few different brighteners/concealers to experiment with. This is easily my favorite. It's easy to apply (I use my fingertip although the brush tip is not bad)...and a little goes a long way. I use it on the inner corners of my eyes, and it's amazing the subtle, but definite, brightness my eyes have with it. There is a little shimmer with it, but when used on the inner eyes it blends in well and is not noticeable. I think this will be a permanent item in my makeup routine.

Quick Take: soft shimmer, sheer coverage
I tried the Eye Basics in Wheat to see if it was better than this product and I should never have strayed. I returned the Eye Basics and purchased my trusty tube of Secret Brightener.
If you want to lighten and give a hint of shimmer to areas around the eyes that could use a little brightening, this is your product. It's soft looking, isn't at all cakey, doesn't crease and stays on well.

unless you want your mascara running down your face - don't use this. I have used it several times now and after about 3 hours have black residue under my eyes...like my make up or mascara has just run down my eye area. This has never happened to me before and I even tried different mascaras to be sure it was really the brightener causing the problem - this is actually the first product I am actually going to return to Sephora.

I have always had under eye circles and I've tried basically everything on the market. This is not great. It just doesn't cover that well. You're better off pairing the Secret Concealer with the powered brightner.

Quick Take: sheer coverage
It's ok. I dont think it was worth the money. I got this for on the days I have to get up early for school and don't feel like doing all of my make-up... I have also applied it over my foundation, and on top of my finishing powder... It does add some brightening, however you need a lot to make a mynute difference, or as I've been saying "A lot goes a little way."
It also doesn't help with how skinny the application brush is... seriously, if I am going to have to even it out with my finger, I'd rather get it out of a tube or a tub. When it runs out I plan on finding a new brand... and trying it on IN store.
PS: I don't even have super dark circles under my eyes... I can't imagine this would work for someone that has dark circles/"bags"
