These brushes are excellent quality, I have adult acne here and there, so I am very cautious with everything I use, and I am constantly disinfecting and washing all of my brushes, I have to say these brushes have survived frequent washes and they don't shed at all. They are awesome, I just love the quality. Splurge if you can or when you can. You won't regret it. I've had for almost 2 years and they are still like new (:
Tip:
1. I wash my brushes with a face wash.
2. Dry flat. Once they are completely dry
3. I spritz with a brush cleaner (smashbox my preference)
4. Fluff a bit to their natural shape voila the brushes are brand new again.

The eyeliner, foundation & concealer brush any brush I apply anything with a creamy consistency,
I take a napkin and put a dab of olive oil then I swipe the brush a couple times until there is no more dirt coming off, then I proceed with steps 1.2.3
Make sure you dry flat, If you dry standing up water goes into the attachment and with time it loosens the glue then brushes fall apart.

These are the nicest (and most expensive) brushes that I have used. They seem to hold the perfect amount of product and have just the right give.

I especially recommend these for those who like a natural look.
I'm not sure if I will use all of them regularly- but I'm glad that I bought the set anyway.

Laura Mercier's Master Brush Set is loaded with all the essential brushes that any girl needs to get her brush collection started. I am a makeup and makeup brush junkie and have zillions of brushes, but my daughter is just getting started to get into makeup so I got this set for her. She loved it and we had a lot of fun together while I showed her what each brush was for and how it worked. This is a great beginner set or it's a great set for travel, too.
