Quick Take: smells greaf
A relaxing spa in a jar, and smells amazing. I'm not so sure that my skin looks any different afterwards, but it is definitely soft!

It doesn't do much
-04.17.13
I like this in the summer because it cools me down. I don't recommend this if you are experiencing dry, flakiness; otherwise this will make your skin feel worse. I have gone through a jar already, it doesn't do much for my skin personally. Will I buy again? Probably not.

Not recommended for dry skin
-04.07.13
I tried this once yesterday and used it according to directions. I was very disappointed after removing it to find my skin very dry and drawn. It did work well as far as having sensitive skin. I had no reactions whatsoever. In my opinion it's just not a good product for anyone with dry skin.

Excellent

Quick Take: hydrating
Great mask. This is hydrating and soothing. Plumped up my skin and gave it a glow. Small pimples on my face seemed to shrink overnight after use. I used this under my eyes and moisturized very well. Smells good and feels cooling. Takes some effort to wash off. I use a warm washcloth to wipe the mask off and rinse with water for any remaining on my face.

Quick Take: great
I love this mask! I have very sensitive skin. This mask does not irritate my skin. I feel like my face had a big drink of water. It is also ok to use close to your eyes which is rare.

Enzyme Mask
-03.11.13
Quick Take: exfoliating, refreshing, effective
This mask is AH-mahzing. I got a sample when visiting the Sephora in Boston last summer and have wanted the full size ever since. The little enzymes chomp away at the dead skin and my face never ceases to look radiant and super-smooth after I use this mask. I use it once a week for an added boost of exfoliation on top of the FAB Facial Radiance Pads that I use daily. With this combination, I never have to use a facial scrub and deal with irritation, but I get the same results (i.e. no dead skin flakes and smooth skin). I will say the scent is strong. I like it, but it may not be for everyone. And a little goes a long way so it really is a great value.

Quick Take: calming soothing hydrating non-irritating, gentle and effective
This is the first Ole Henriksen product I've tried, along with the "truth is in the eyes" eye peel, which I also have positive things to say about. This mask is truly a mini spa in a jar. The smell is powerful, and overwhelmingly lavender (I was actually afraid it would be too fruity for my taste with the berries) but it isn't a perfume-y or fake lavender smell at all. To me it's a very natural and clean scent that hits the senses as soon as you put it on, and is extremely calming--great for the end of a long day, after a hot shower. I love the ingredients lists on these products. The texture is great too: a translucent, color-free gel that goes on cool and tingly. If you have ever used Murad's Exfoliating Pomegranate Mask the texture is similar: not heavy or greasy at all, even though moisturizing; a rich, creamy gel that skin just drinks it up. My face was super soft and not irritated at all after using this and I have dry-combination, blemish prone skin that is pretty sensitive. Also, the containers are perfect. I know that's not a high point for some people but it makes a difference (especially a $ difference.) What you see is what you get with these jars--no cutting open dispensers for last drops, or throwing out what you can't see in a dispenser you can't even see through.
This one quickly made it to the top of my three favorite mask treatments, and I will definitely be trying more OH products. Very impressed.

Irritating; Strong Smell
-02.17.13
STRONG smell of lavender, to the point where my eyes were watering from the fumes. About 30 seconds after applying this, I experienced a strong burning sensation around my nose and on my cheeks, and when I removed the product the area was reddened and sensitive. I don't consider myself to have particularly sensitive skin, but after a bad chemical burn a few years ago anything that burns or stings severely I remove immediately. This stuff is probably best for less sensitive skin.

Quick Take: top notch!
This is my favorite mask for the winter. My skin is combination/sensitive, but a bit dryer in winter. I love to use this instead of more drying masks. It leaves my skin glowing! I've purchased this twice! LOVE, LOVE!

Excellent for sensitive, acne-prone skin
-01.05.13
Quick Take: gentle effective gel moisturizing replenishing
I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and this mask is an excellent alternative to harsher peel type of masks. I recently began using prescription strength retin-a cream and my skin became super dry. After using this mask, the dryness is mostly gone and my skin looks and feels more supple and vibrant. It smells great and can be used under the eye area --- indicating how gentle it really is. I even accidentally licked my lips while I had this on and it tasted good believe it or not.

LOVE

Only used this once and seriously instantaneous results...I had been traveling over the holidays and my skin showed it--tired, dry, and just ugh gross looking old....while I had my toddler in his nightly bath I threw this mask on and 20 mins later my skin was soft, plump, and full of life again. No joke. I'm thrilled.

The mask is ok. However, my skin got really dry after the mask. Also, the smell is a little stronger to me.

Great mask!
-12.30.12
I love this mask for hydrating. It can sting a bit when you first put it on, but I feel that it works. It smells like sharp lavender, not berries, as you might think. It goes on like an aloe gel and is clear like that too. Works well while taking a bath, but can feel a bit drippy (it tickles), but continues to hydrate with the steam.

Blue/Black Berry Enzyme Mast
-12.28.12
This product is amazing. I got my sister hooked to it and she says it's helping reduce the acne on her face. I usually use this when i feel like my face needs a pick me up. I apply it at night and when i wake up i feel that it brightens my skin.

Minor Eczema Irritation
-12.27.12
I am an eczema sufferer and tried out this mask after a Sephora salesperson recommended it for exfoliation. I applied the mask on thick as instructed but, after 10 minutes, my skin felt irritated. I quickly washed it off. Considering I am using it during a dry winter weather, I have to say that my skin feels moisturized and no redness or dry patches from the eczema irritation. I highly suggest for eczema sufferers to not leave this product on your skin for more than 10 minutes. But, I have to say this product works.

One of a kind

Quick Take: hydrating, relaxing
I rarely recommend skin care products to friends and family because everyone's skin is so radically different. Until this one.
What a treat to finally get my money's worth on an expensive beauty product. Relaxing yet invigorating, hydrating yet oil-eliminating, this can produce results for every skin type.
I like to use it at night as a treat for my skin before bed. Rinses off clean and makes my skin feel like I've just had a facial. Enjoy!
