Great for sensitive skin!
-10.23.11
Quick Take: skin-soothing, refreshing, gentle, exfoliating
Very nice product for exfoliating and hydrating. I have extremely sensitive skin and this is one of the few products that my skin will tolerate. My only complaint is that the mask needs to sit on your skin for 20 minutes, but it is worth it - your skin will look and feel great afterwords!

Yummy
-10.15.11
Quick Take: skin-soothing, refreshing, sticky
As w/all OleH products, the real benefit is the aromatherapy. Slather it on (including eyelids, but be careful not to get it IN your eyes), lie down for 30 minutes, relax & focus on your breathing & the fragrance. You're pretty much guaranteed to get up feeling refreshed. I'd rate this excellent but for the fact that it's gooey & hard to rinse off. I either have to wipe off the residue w/cotton balls, or get in the shower & turn the water on full force to get it all off. It DOES leave skin feeling soothed & smooth.

I LOVE THIS EFFECTIVE MASK
-10.03.11
Quick Take: intensive, skin-soothing, refreshing, very effective
love masks. I find that the majority of them leave my skin immediately looking refreshed and youthful. Ole Henriksen's Blue/Black Berry Enzyme Mask is a clear thick gel that is thickly applied to cleansed skin and then left on for 20 minutes, before being rinsed off. It has a nice lavender scent that also seems like aromatic therapy, it's so relaxing. While I very often do other things (like changing my nail polish) when I use other masks, I usually close my eyes and relax when my skin is being de-stressed by this mask. I've only used it three times so far, since I use other masks, but this is one of my favorites, and I'm glad to have belatedly discovered it. If you're looking for a new mask, you might want to try this one. I'm very pleased with it.

Blue & Black leaves you rosey
-09.26.11
Quick Take: skin-soothing, refreshing
The texture reminds me of egg whites. Kinda slimy, but feels cool on the skin. I'm not sure what it's doing to my skin for those 20 minutes I have it on, but once I wash it off, my face has a beautiful glow about it and it's soft and smooth.
I'm almost 42 and don't have one wrinkle or any crows feet. I realize a lot of that is genetics and lifestyle, but this whole line makes it so easy for me to decide which one is best for my skin type.

Ineffective
-09.14.11
Quick Take: gel mask, not hydrating, no results, irritating
I went through a whole jar of this hoping that it will live up to its description of "renewing, conditioning and hydrating" sensitive skin. I dont feel like it fulfilled any of its claims. Its a clear gel mask thats slightly cooling to the skin but when I wash it off my skin is very red and not comforted and hydrated at all. It also has a very overpowering lavender scent but I could deal with that if I would have seen the results I wanted from this. For this price I really think you would be better off getting some clear aloe vera and mixing in a few essential oils.

Good exfoliating mask for a natural product
-08.31.11
Quick Take: skin-soothing, brightening
I really like this mask. I use it 3x a week, leaving at least one full day in between applications. I have some redness and post-acne hyperpigmentation, and it's really helping to lessen both of these, and my skin just glows after this. It doesn't make me break out, and it has a little burny sensation when I first put it on (maybe two minutes), and then that sensation is replaced with a refreshing sensation. It's not as strong as some other AHA/enzyme peels, but I rather like that I can use this regularly throughout the week, whereas those other peels I can only use once a week if I want my face to keep from peeling. I like that you can use it under your eyes, and this jar is lasting quite a while- I've been using it 3x a week for over a month, and a friend has also used it twice and I still have half the jar left, so I think it's a good bargain.
It has a strong lavender smell, which I like, but can be off-putting to some. However, I've been told by aromatherapists that the oils that you have a strong reaction to (like you really hate it, even though it's not, like, a BAD smell) are the oils you really need. True? Maybe, maybe not, but I always think about that.

Like it so far...
-08.29.11
Quick Take: refreshing
I didn't give it a 5-star rating because I just started using it. I don't know how well it's doing at "renewing" and "conditioning," my skin. With that said, I do like the tingly feeling when I put it on, and the smell is lovely. I also love how it's free from nasty chemicals.

Soothing and hydrating
-08.26.11
Quick Take: skin-soothing, refreshing
After one use of this mask, my skin felt so soft and moisturized, I couldn't believe it. My skin is on the dry side, so I'm always looking for ways to give it extra moisture, this is definitely in that category. And it smells AMAZING! Totally worth the price!

Nice smell but nothing else

It is made of aloe, which you can buy at any drugstore for the fraction of the price. Did not see any result on my face. I returned it back.

It smells nice but it did not do anything to my skin. Just an average aloe which you can buy at store at a fraction of the price of this mask.

I have very sensitive skin and this product along with most other Ole products did not irritate my skin. It is a little sticky but comes off clean.

quite acceptable
-07.21.11
Quick Take: skin-soothing, refreshing, lovely smell, hydrating, toning
i bought this mask to replace another enzyme mask that i ran out of (clarifying white enzyme "peel" mask that occasionally burns my skin somewhat, but really exfoliates and clears up occasional breakouts). this mask is much gentler, and i was pleasantly surprised to find the hydration and enzymes together make for a very nice combination. i may still need to do a peel or another exfoliating process on occasion, but this is a great mask for money. a little goes a long way. the smell is gorgeous, and it's a nice little pick-me-up for the face and the senses. leaves skin smoother and temporarily more toned looking. and no "ghostface killah" looks.

WAS skeptical, but it WORKS!!!
-06.29.11
Quick Take: intensive, skin-soothing, refreshing, per-fect!!
Ok, so I was skeptical when I purchased this product, because I have purchased natural peels in the past and was not too impressed...
But this WORKS..and WONDERFULLY....I leave it on for longer than it says...as I usually do with all masks. There is virtually no burning sensation, and my skin looks and feels SO PERFECT after using this mask...
I don't have the BEST skin in the world, but it sure looks awesome after using this mask....
Any redness that I had is GONE...and my pores are definitely smaller...
I could PROBABLY get away with using this every day, even...because it is so gentle....
I have combo-skin....and it moisturizes while making my skin PERFECTLY balanced....there are no dry spots when I use this, and problem areas are reduced.
Not to mention that it is a reasonable price.
.....now I am not so sure I can EVER live without this product....It's a MUST-HAVE in my book and always will be...

awesome suprise
-06.16.11
Quick Take: intensive, skin-soothing
I don't think I have ever used a mask that offered such noticable and immediate results. I was taken by suprise how much I love this mask! I purchased it along with the Three Little Wonders kit. The mask makes my skin tone beautiful and even and gives me a glow. It also imparts moisture into my skin. It makes my skin look like porcelin! My sensitiive skin loves it!

i love this product. it is so refreshing! it smells amazing, like a spa product. the jar is a good size so i think it will last a while, even though i use it more than once a week. i highly recommend it! it is my favorite home mask i've ever used, and i've gone through at least 5 different brands.

I use this after the Walnut Scrub once a week and I didn't find it to burn. It does have a strong smell, but i think it's the lavender on it. It feel very cool when first applied.

From nature to your face
-05.19.11
Quick Take: skin-soothing, refreshing, glow inducing
I love this mask! I have very sensitive skin and this mask is amazing. it reduces redness almost immediately after use and does not dry out skin at all. It is moisturizing and totally refreshes your skin. My skin totally glows after using this mask. I typically use masks at night, but I've used this mask and other Ole Henricksen masks prior to going out, they are very gentle and leave your skin feeling and looking very refreshed.
