Quick Take: smudgable
The black color is a deep black. The formulation is lightly creamy, so its not so creamy as to just smear, as I've experienced with milani eyeliners. My problem, which I've had with every other eyeliner, is that it will transfer noticably from my upper lash line to my bottom by the middle of the day. For the price, and for this reason, I won't be repurchasing, but its still a really good product.

I purchased this as a waterline brightener. It doesn't work for me because its it's way too peachy colored. It is very soft and smooth and pigmented, but I'm disappointed I spent $18 for a pencil that I rarely use.

Its the smoothest kohl out there no doubt about that. But it does smudge a lot. Also, the one I got didn't sharpen well so I almost wasted the whole pencil. Maybe that one was a bad one. In spite of all this, I would still buy it again till I find something better.

Wasn't too impressed with this eyeliner. It didnt last all day and it smudged. However, one positive thing about it is that it is highly pigmented.

Stila is very dark and gives the eye a sensual look. It stays on all day. It's soft but doesn't smudge unless you want it to. Great product.

For the mother of a newborn, this was a great discovery. You line it on the waterline of your eye to remove the redness that is par for the course for new moms. You suddenly look perky and awake.

Quick Take: smooth, high pigment
I bought this in Topaz to use on my waterline to bright up my eyes. Definitely does the trick and application is smooth and easy. I don't find it to be super long lasting, but that could be the nature of the waterline beast. I would be willing to try other colors for my lids (although I seem to always go back to Laura Mercier's kohl liners).

Quick Take: long wearing, smudgable
This eye liner is so creamy and smooth. It glides on the waterline without any tugging and without causing any irritation. It smudges out so easily for a smokey eye. I would recommend setting this liner with an eyeshadow because it will bleed and transfer if left on its own.
