A little goes a long way

I used this on my cheek bones and my brow bone but wow does a little go a long way.
I find this to get glumpy sometimes. I have to be very careful with how much I apply because it is super sparkly! And once you get it on it's hard to take off....so start with a little and build more.
I'll have to experiment with different application techniques maybe it will be less glumpy looking with a sponge? Brush or fingers sure don't work.

Quick Take: too sparkly
I was looking for something to put on the bridge of my nose and cheekbones for daytime. In the day light it looks way too sparkly and I tried to remove it right away which is hard. I can see it being good for night time...

I really, really love this luminizer. As a previous reviewer stated, this doesn't have any peach/pink in it, which was really appealing to me. It adds a nice, light shimmer without being too much. Now I can't leave the house without using it. Plus, you get a LOT of product and a little goes a long way.

Again, I love stila. They're just amazing. Anyways, I was looking for a gold luminizer that did not have pink.. dear god, everything has pink in it when it comes to a luminizer! So frustrating when you have olive skin - pink makes me look so ruddy, ew! Anyways, this stuff is perfect. Highlights the yellow in my skin without too much glitter.. perfect =)
Oh and P.S. I mix this with my foundation.. Haven't tried it alone or with my moisturizer. I have, however, tried it alone to highlight cheekbones, and it's honestly a bit much. Looks good from far away, but looks like a shimmer explosion up close.. definitely a concentrated liquid!

I wanted a highlighter to add some glow to my cheeks, and was ready to buy the Benefit Watts Up, but was talked into this cosmetic instead. It is WONDERFUL! Just a little dab will go a loooong way, and it really does add a subtle shimmer and glow to my cheeks that lasts all day.

I was looking for something different to add to my make-up collection and the Sephora experts suggested this luminizer. And I love it! I've used it to highlight my cheekbones as well as mixed the liquid luminizer with my tinted moisturizer. Also, I only use a very small amout so I think this will last forever!

I've been using the typical bronzer and never got the glow I wanted. I recenlty attended a makeup technique class and was introduced to this. It delivers an outstanding glow for brown skin, doesn't make skin look ashy either.

I love this. Soft and silky, not too shimmery. I use this in the inner and outer corner's of my eyes and a brow high lighter, it's an instant wake me up to my tired looking eyes if my babies keep me up at night, or when I have a long night when I have a ladies night. (because mommy's deserve those nights every once and a while!)

This is quite a nice highlighter; although I hate to gush, I was impressed. I was worried that the gold would have a bronzing effect like other highlighters do on my light skin, but that didn't happen-- the only pigment exists in the sparkles (for lack of a better word, since they are extremely fine) which are only visible when the light hits them. It's definitely wearable during the day and you can layer it up for an evening look. But you only need a couple small dabs of this stuff to get the effect!
This also comes in another color, a silver one. And it's important to know that the silver complements cool skin tones and the gold complements warm skin tones. Just because you are fair-skinned does not mean you should wear the silver! Light-skinned, warm-toned women (i.e. me) look much better in the gold product, as silver makeup tends to look ashen on them. When applied to the upper cheekbones, temples, brow bone, and just a touch on the end of the nose, it creates a wonderful dewy look.

I absolutely LOVED this stuff. i feel like it would last forever, and it gave my skin a light golden glow. It stayed on all day, and can be used on your cheekbones, under your eyebrows, in your inner corner, and on your cupids bow. Its shimmery without being sparkly, bc there is a fine line. The only problem that i had w it was it made me break out, so if you have sensitive skin beware. (I had used it for about 5 days when i started noticing it, but after three of stopping my skin was back to normal.

I love this stuff! it's not too shimmery, easy to work with and lasts all day. i'd really recommend this product to anyone... looks great as a highlight on the face, and really pretty on the decolette. this bottle has lasted me a really long time, so I think the price is really reasonable.

I love, love, love this product! This gives me a subtle, yet noticeable glow, and lasts all day! You dont need alot of it either, which is great and means this one little bottle will last. I've had an issue for years trying to find an illuminater, that wasnt 1. glitter 2. tinted with bronzer and 3. heavy to the point of almost a foundation. My skin already has a natural pinkish/flushed tint to it, and alot of other luminizers that I have tried have a pinkish tint to it, so on me, it just made me look hot (like I just ran around the block, not the other kind of "hot"). This product has more of a pearly finish to it, so it just adds the glow and not any extra color. I've used it by itself with nothing else on my skin, under and over my blush and its been wonderful with every look (I also get a decent amount of compliments on my "glow" as well :) ). I use to use Benefit's moon beam, but even that was a little to pinky for me. This product will be a staple for a looong time, for sure!
Just remember, use a little at first and then build up to the glow you want, a little goes a long way!
