Quick Take: moisturizing
I have used a lot of Peter Thomas Roth products and really liked them. This product did not live up to my expectations.
I am 72 years old and have deep wrinkles. I do not see any improvement in my skin. Besides that this product has a bad smell. I would not recommend it.

This truly is an ultra-moisturizing creme that makes my dry, 68 year-old skin feel moist--quite an accomplishment in our dry environment and high elevation (7200 feet).

I just turned 70 yrs this fall, and have never used a moisturizer, because my skin was neither dry or oily, and I didn't feel the need. Now, I do. The first few things I tried broke out my skin! Not fair to have wrinkles and pimples! This cream is so good, I can not tell you! It really worked around my mouth! and other places, and no break outs. It is simply the best! I will use it as long as I am here! Wonderful!

not for acne prone skin

I bought this cream along with PTR's beta acid facial wash, the complexion correction pads, and the sulfur masque. I have combination skin with moderate breakouts and although PTR products have lessened my acne considerably, it also left it dry as a result so I was looking for a moisturizer with some anti-aging benefits.
I don't have any fine lines or wrinkles yet (I'm 29 but I figured it would be best to start fighting it early), so maybe I'm not old enough necessarily to see the anti-aging benefits of this cream, but every time I use it my face breaks out more.
I think over all this could be a good moisturizer if you have advanced signs of aging or really dry skin but it is also very rich so a little bit goes a long way and it might aggravate acne if you have that as well.

This is the perfect night cream. Although I am oily, I like to really use something moisturizing and heavier than I would apply in the morning. But it is not heavy by any means, it is an overall great moisturizer, especially in the winter.

I have extremely dry, sensitive skin. I've tried using all the "over the counter" moisturizers and they all made my skin burn and turn red. I've also tried many of the moisturizers at Sephora and although they didn't make my skin burn or turn red, they weren't moisturizing enough. This was the only product that was heavy enough for my dry skin but not too heavy to make my skin break out. The cost is a little high but a jar of this lasts me a good 5-6 months so it is totally worth it for me. I can't live without this product!

I'm combination to oily, thought the cream might be too rich for me, but it is not! For me, it works better than la mer! I apply the cream to my face, neck and hands twice a day, and I can find the glows back. My hands used to have dry wrinkles which make me look old, but now these ugly wrinkles are gone!

There are quite a few anti-aging superstars on the ingredient list. And I have heard good reviews about it. Still, it proved to be just another moisturizing cream. After two jars, I dont see any difference. Maybe I'm expecting too much from a moisturizer or perhaps I'm too young to see its true effects.

Years ago the consultant from the PTRoth website encourged me to try this cream because my skin was so sensitive. Boy did it take away my redness and also soften the lines on my face, particularly the "marionette lnes". I've used it ever since. It's not greasy. I use it at night and also in the morning with a followup SPF from Perrione, which goes on smoothly over my mega rich.

I had received a mini version of this in a promotion from another company and had very mixed feelings about it, as it was rather waxy and had an odd odor, almost like tallow. Still, I liked the way it worked and ordered a full size from Sephora. Now I'm wondering if they changed the formula or if I was given something old and past its' prime initially. This cream has nearly no odor, is creamy and melts into my skin and leaves it soft as the proverbial baby's bottom.................

my skin gets parched very easily, especially after a shower. This moisturizer fixed the problem! My skin suffered from a bad break out & blemished because I applied the wrong moisturizer prior to this one & AGAIN, this moisturizer fixed the problem. This moisturizer is so effective && magical, it's elusive what it can do. Purchase it and try it yourself. Best product out there...hands down!
