Perfekt Skin Perfection Gel
-05.17.13
Quick Take: thick, heavy, difficult to blend
umm, no. I found it to be dry and thick feeling. I know people who swear by this stuff, but it's definitely not for me. I could FEEL it on my skin. I followed directions, warmed it, patted it on (which made even applications almost impossible) and it still felt weird to me. I tried it 4 or 5 times and had to wash it off every time. It went back to Sephora.

Closest thing to perfection
-05.16.13
Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, works great for oily skin.
This is by far the best makeup primer out there if you utilize it correctly. Lack of improvisation can lead to an unhappy first time experience. I suggest the clear primer only. I've noticed the primer works best when I splash cold water on my face before application. Second, let the primer set in for about 15-20 minutes. When i'm in a rush I set my blow dryer to a COOL setting and blast my face with it. Lastly, I pat my face lightly with foundation. I really don't suggest the tinted primer unless your want to get a shade darker than your skin to give yourself a healthy tan appearance. If the cost seems a bit too much for you I suggest the Vitamin C Skin Boost by the body shop, it's about 24 bucks and it's often on sale. It's practically the same thing and the pump always works. The only downside. If you have oily skin like I do, you have to make sure you carry some oil blotters with you. Perfekt primer seems to do a better job at controlling the excess oil.

More hassle than value
-05.16.13
Quick Take: buildable coverage, oil-free
I was sold this as a light form of foundation for someone who doesn't like to wear a lot of make-up. Despite much practice at the store applying with a patting technique and the warning that the pump might fail, I was still disappointed. Short of applying most of the bottle in one use, you still need foundation and I don't feel like it really provided any additional benefit to a good foundation. And the pump did fail after one use. Luckily Sephora took it back.

good...
-05.14.13
So this is definitely good. Though is way over priced for a silicone primer. This does not work as foundation has really no coverage. It does make the skin look smoother though.SO the way I used it is i buy the color "rich" and use it as a tanner/bronzer. Love it used this way. I like it allot for all over the face to in the lighter color... I just don't think its worth the price when used that way.

Feels great but doesn't wear well
-05.13.13
I love the idea of this product. It's super smooth when you put it on and it provides a light degree of coverage. But, after several hours, I noticed that it became greasy and gathered in areas where I had touched my face. Ended up returning it....

Disappointed
-05.13.13
My skin has a few acne scars not that many, not tha bad. Also very oily with large pores. I got it in the color radiance, it gave me less than light coverage almost no coverage whatsoever. It mattified my skin for less than 6 hours(with powder over it). Idk about the benefits but for this price you could easily buy a really good moisturizer. Not worth it. It is not " amazing " like the reps at sephora say.

Great for dry sensitive skin!
-05.12.13
Quick Take: oil-free, long wearing, sheer, natural finish, moisturizing, tinted primer
I would by no means consider this a foundation. I think it falls more towards the family of tinted primers and tinted moisturizers. The coverage is very sheer yet it some how blurs any spots or discoloration so they aren't as obvious. The finish isn't dewy but more of a natural finish. If you have good-very good you'll love this as I do. I do get the odd patch of spots but this is my everyday daytime make up. If I do have spots I just cover the, with concealer. Overall I am very pleased with this.

Quick Take: not buildable
I love the way it feels on your skin, I love how it stays in place even when I have had a hot flash.
It does not cover like it a should, At this price point . It should offer more to you. I also think it should be in a tube.

Great product but quality has gone downhill...
-05.11.13
Quick Take: light, oil controlling
This is my favorite primer and I'm willing to pay a high price for something that works however the last 2 bottles purchased have malfunctioned. The dispenser broke on one and the other is coming out in clumps instead of smooth. For being one of the more expensive primers I expect better

bought this for my sister, who's a lot lighter than I am, and she loves it. Her skin looks smooth, and porcelain-like. She says it feels very soft too

Great product!
-05.10.13
Quick Take: long wearing
This foundation makes my skin look amazing, like I have no pores! The foundation goes on smoothly but it is tricky to apply. You need to pat it on and then smooth it out. It does not apply like liquid foundation. But once it is on and blended, it looks amazing! The coverage is sheer yet silky. The product blended very well into my skin. I will order this again.

not for me
-05.08.13
I have very oily skin and living in nyc requires an oil controller during our warmer months. I expected that with no color transfer. That is not what I got. I'm sure this works well for other people but my skin slapped it and called it "puny". 2 points for ingenuity

Moisturizing
-05.05.13
Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing
Use the "rich" color which works for my olive brown skin tone. Usually very hard to get this lightweight coverage without streaking, pore clogging and pastiness. You can build it as if it were a primer or you can go "nude". A quick fix for those tardy morning starts. Have used this brand for about 4 years and love it. So glad Sephora still carries it.

Completely transforms my face
-05.03.13
Ok when I first got it... It was coming out of the container very oddly. But after about 5-10 pumps it became smooth.. Not sure what that was about. Anyway
I am pale with pink undertones and darker circles under my eyes and I got radiant. When I wear this stuff my skin tone is even, it transforms my under eyes, and it looks like I'm wearing makeup. I now know why it is SO expensive. I feel like a different person when I use it... Tone and texture of my face just goes from zero to 100. A little goes a very long way especially if you pat it on first.
Highly recommend... My favorite sephora discovery. Especially if you have an uneven skin tone. It has been working better and better the longer I've had it too.

Skin Perfector.....not foundation
-05.02.13
Quick Take: long wearing
I've been searching for something with coverage less than most foundations offer. I've tried a few tinted moisturizers, and they're okay, but I'm not a fan of the stickiness and scent of those with an SPF. This product is not a substitute for foundation if you prefer that experience. It's great as a primer with a bit of color. I've been using it for a few days now and so far....I like it. I like the feel of it on my skin. I use my daily moisturizer first, then this, then I apply a bronzer for a little more color. This allows me to have flawless looking skin that lasts all day without a heavy foundation, which at 49 years old, can tend to settle in fine lines. I didn't go for all 5 stars b/c I've only used it for a few days and it's kind of pricey. If I continue to like the results, I'll re-purchase.

not worth it - just an expensive primer
-05.01.13
the sales people were really pushing this item when i was in the store. i was told that i could wear this alone, or with a foundation. that was not the case. there wasn't any real coverage. i did like the weightless feeling, and if you are careful while it dries, once it does, it doesn't really rub off on anything.

Feels great but not great coverage
-04.30.13
Quick Take: feels amazing
I went into a sephora for the first time last weekend looking for a good pore-reducing primer. A sales associate (probably one affiliated with Perfekt) showed me this product and told me it would work as a primer, foundation, moisturizer, and finishing powder all in one. So i bought this, the blush, and the eye cream. The price was hefty, but it felt so great on my skin i felt it would be worth it. When i applied it for the first time myself the next day, i still thought that it felt amazing on my face, but my face aslo felt greasy throughout the whole day and looked too shiny, and it really had no coverage; it was more like a primer only, not a foundation. It just wasn't worth the cost to me, so i brought it back the next day.

Overpriced and not worth the hype
-04.29.13
I was convinced to buy this by the saleswoman at the store. She put it on over the foundation I already had so I didn't realize how sheer it was. When I pumped my bottle it was dry and cakey and did not give me any coverage on it's on. For the price, I feel like it should do so much more
