I'm in love with DDF . I feel like for the price, the products actually deliver . This face wash is no exception. You only need a little pump like the bottle says, and your face feels refreshed. I've only been using it a couple of weeks...and for acne products I like to give it about a month to consistent results. That's why I could only give 4 stars. I definitely would try this out if you have issues with acne. Worth the money!!!

I bought this cleanser because I love a few other DDF products (moisturizing dew, benzoyl peroxide gel). It is gentle and foamy but I don't think it was that effective as a cleanser. I still found traces of makeup on my skin. I have combination skin and it didn't make my skin worse but I don't think it helped correct that. And I still had my normal breakouts.
I noticed some reviewers list this cleanser as "milky" and it's not milky at all. It goes straight from a clear blue liquid to a foam. That's it. In no way is the consistency milky or creamy at any point. Your skin actually feels quite tight after using this product which tells you that it really doesn't have any moisturizing ingredients.

I have very oily skin so I don't know why this leaves my face so so dry after washing. It's not a make up remover nor does it completely cleans your face. After washing face with only skincare on all day, my face becomes so so tight that I have to use cream or softeners.
I don't think this cleanser did anything to my skin thus far, been using for 2 weeks. My usual off period acne and pimple are still appearing. I'm going to finish the bottle but will not buy again. I just hate the fact that I was still able to lightly scrape off layers of oil from my nose and cheeks after using this cleanser.
I think if i were to continue to use this and not products afterwards, it would induce the formation of my wrinkles from the dryness it leaves my skin.

I love this product. I use it as a cleanser and as a treatment. It isnt a makeup remover so make sure and use somethung else for that! When using it as a treatment, dilute half a pump with water and leave on overnight it works like a dream on MY skin. I recommend this cleanser.

I was getting some really bad hormone-related cystic acne on my forehead a couple weeks ago and decided to give this a try. After the first use the big red bumps on my face shrank and were almost no longer red! After a couple more days they were COMPLETELY GONE! I had no irritation or dryness whatsoever, which is rare considering I have dry and sensitive skin. The medicinal/herbal smell is something you have to get used to but it is worth it for such fast and long-lasting results. The instructions advise you not to use any other acne treatment in addition to this but I did anyways and had no problems. This is definitely something to try out.

This cleanser is great for those with sensitive skin since it's gentle enough for everyday use. However, the foaming action is simply too light to have any effect on make-up remover. I have to use a separate make-up remover before I cleanse with this cleanser. It is also not as effective as I would like it to be for an acne cleanser. I have used other products that are more effective at preventing breakouts. If you have sensitive but acne prone skin, this could be a solution. But for the rest of us, I'd recommend using a different product.

I am a redhead and have VERY sensitive skin. My sister is a brunette with very oily skin and blemish problems. After falling in love with this product I sent it to my sister and she is now also completely addicted. I swear it is the best cleanser I've ever used. Sometimes I use it with my Clarisonic scrubber, but it's really just fabulous on it's own!

It doesn't keep my acne gone completely. I still have bad breakouts some times that leave dark reminders behind. I wonder if I just need a stronger formula.
But long term use, it will help even the skin tone and reduce breakouts.

Very disappointed. It didn't remove most of my my make-up and therefore did not help with my break-outs. Just did not clean the way a normal face wash should. Had to pump out a lot to even get a good foam going. Will not buy again.

The bottle is actually really big and since it's foaming, it lasts longer than your typical gel soap/ cleaners. The formula is very gentle for normal skin or acne prone skin. After using it, the skin really does feel soft and clean.

I’ve used many acne products only to find out my skin is feeling so sore and irritated, even to the point of raw to the core. This is the only product that is gentle but effective at removing all of my makeup. My acne is still a challenge and this product hasn’t cleared my skin entirely because my acne is something internal, but I feel it has done a good job at managing the amount of oil without over-drying my skin.

I bought this product when Sephora was running a special on it last summer. Normally, I use a different name brand, but wanted to see if this worked as well. DDF Foaming Cleanser does not work! I tried it for 2 weeks and my chin acne was worse then when I started. It also fet like a film was left behind after I rinsed. Yuck! Grade F

I did not like this cleanser at all. It dried out my skin drastically and as a result, I started to break out after only a few days of use. My skin did not feel clean after use and it was not efficient at removing my makeup. I've read in other reviews that DDF changed the formula, which is extremely unfortunate. I was really hoping I could replace my old cleanser with this one, but no such luck. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This was ok, it did not irrate my skin, my skin felt hydrated; however it was not strong enough for my acne-prone skin.I felt I need something a little bit strong to tackle to occasional break-outs, so I returned it.

I have been using this facewash since 2004 and my skin has been so ridiculously clear. I used to always have a pimple or two- I think I could count on one hand the number of pimples I have had since I started using this. This product has been fantastic. I recommend it to anybody who has problem skin.

I've only been using this product for a short period of time, but I had to review it right away. I am very disappointed with this cleanser. It doesn't clean my face in the slightest. My face ended up feeling even more grimy than it was at the end of my 12 hour work day. I even tried using it with the Sephora Collection Precision Pore Cleansing Pad to no avail. I obviously cannot comment on any long-term benefits, but seeing as it doesn't clean, I don't see how it could benefit anyone. I wish I would have listened to all of the recent reviews that say that DDF changed the formula and the product isn't the same. And the smell! Yuck. I will definitely be retuning this immediately.

I love this cleanser! It cleans without overdrying and it really does prevent breakouts. I have been using this regularly and am amazed at how less and less pimples I see everyday. Its foamy so you don't need to use a lot and one bottle lasts a long time. The smell is not so good but it works and it's worth the money. I am on my second bottle and will continue using this cleanser.
