Moisturizer goes on nicely & is light. However, it seems to have made my skin drier, maybe I need to give it longer to see results. .

My go to! Creamy silk as my skin drinks this up. I use the Night cream also along with Miracle worker for other half of week. Use a small amount as thats all that's needed. If you think to oily your using to much it has a different texture a small amount is all you need!

Cheesy... But Changed My Life
-04.10.13
Quick Take: intensive
I have pretty bad acne, and although I take medication and apply a variety of topical treatments to my skin, I saw a noticeable decrease in the number of breakouts after using this product. It's really pricey for me, but it's definitely worth the purchase! It's also great for my super dry, flakey, and peeley days.

I really like this as a simple, all-purpose dry skin moisturizer. At least now in the winter, it seems I need to let one layer soak in and go back for more, but it hasn't irritated my skin at all and seems to do the trick. The scent is light and clean. Just my two cents: for the price/quantity, it's a fine moisturizer, and while I have no real objections, I'm not completely in love with it, so I'll keep some one hand and also explore other options. Who knows - I may keep coming back.

This moisturizer is amazing! Although pricey, it does exactly what it's supposed to do and is well worth the money. I say this because, once during a particularly cold winter, my skin was getting much dryer than usual, and no moisturizer could keep it nourished for very long. I tried 4 different moisturizers and even resorted to 3 different hand lotions, but nothing lasted for more than an hour or two. As a last resort, I bought hope in a jar, and it was definitely worth it! Only one application of it would keep my skin nourished all day, maybe two for really bad days. Also, using just a little bit of it goes a long way since it's so rich so it definitely lasts and is worth the money.

Moisturized Red Itchy Face...
-03.07.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, creamy
I bought this simply because I use Purity Made Simple face cleanser and I have (recently) dry flaky cheeks. I used this in the morning after using my clarisonic aria and noticed my face was turning slightly red and burning. The burning isn't unbearable but it's not something I'm willing to tolerate just for the sake of having this name brand product. I thought I'd give it another try tonight and I'm having the same results. My cheeks and forehead are pink, burning and itchy. I expected a lot more out of this product. Considering I'm not severely dry, I may try the normal one and see if it's any better. Maybe waiting a few mins after washing my face will help? I'll try that in the am.
Otherwise, this product doesn't smell all that bad, my face DOES feel soft, moisturized and I can see that this jar would last quite a while. So, the price really isn't all that bad.
Oh and even though this is 99.9% oil free it does have an oily feel on my fingers after applying.

great stuff!
-03.02.13
Quick Take: great stuff!
I hesitated purchasing this previously because of other reviews saying the scent was horrible. I finally took the plunge and am happy I did. The stuff is great and I do not think this product smells bad, funny, rotten or like fish. It smells like the products used in the spa I go to for facials!

Good for spot-treating
-02.27.13
Quick Take: intensive
I received a sample of this moisturizer along with my Hope in a Jar purchase. I didn't think I'd ever use it because my skin isn't overly dry. Well, after spending several cold and windy winter afternoons at the dog park, parts of my face started becoming chapped. I spot-treated my cheeks and the sides of my nose with this, and surprisingly, the red/raw feeling was pretty much gone by the time I woke up. Although I don't have a need for this moisturizer on a regular basis, it did work well in my time of need.

Nice, but for someone else
-02.21.13
Quick Take: very rich
This moisturizer was nice but didn't work for me. While it didn't cause my sensitive skin to react in an allergic way, it did cause me to develop 3 big blemishes the first time I used it. I waited a few days and tried it again, with similar results. I guess the product is just too rich for my skin. It may be perfect for someone with VERY dry skin.

It's not the worst moisturizer I've ever used... But I have extremely dry skin, and I find this to be mediocre. I was really excited to try this product after hearing all the hype but I was a little disappointed.
I like the smell, at least.

I love this. I held off on purchasing for quite sometime because of the reviews I read regarding the scent and how so many people couldn't stand it. I finally purchased this product and am only sorry I didn't sooner! I am not sure about the "foul" smell, I smell a clean, fresh face cream that works wonders!

Okay...not great
-02.11.13
It smells like there is petroleum in this moisturizer. I don't know if that is an ingredient but didn't like the smell.
Seems to work fine. I am a Hope in a Jar (for normal/combo skin) die hard and thought I would try something with more bang for the dry Winter months.
Don't think I will purchase again.

Helps dry winter skin
-02.04.13
Quick Take: intensive
I have been using this as my daytime moisturizer for three weeks. I have dry and acne-prone skin. My skin was actually flaky and peeling from the dry winter wind. This provides the moisture my skin needs without causing breakouts on me. It seems like it may be too rich/oily for me during the summer, but it has been a huge help this winter.

To Die For
-02.02.13
Quick Take: amazing
This winter my skin started to get really dry and flaky. I had tried lots of different moisturizers and my bff recommended this one. She said she can't live without it. Now that I have tried it...I completely agree with her! This lotion is amazing! It is very lightweight and only has a mild smell. It absorbs into the skin well. After using it for two days, all my dry flaky skin was soft and smooth. I absolutely can not live without this!
