I originally bought this for my husband as a cream for when I'm cutting/shaving the hair on the back of his neck with a straight razor.... he started using it for his face as well. He stated that it does work well for his face, but it seems as though he really needs to use a lot of the product compared to using a shaving gel/cream from the drugstore. He doesn't like the high cost & lack of product, when it essentially does the same thing for his face as the drugstore cream/gels...in his opinion.
I like that it's clear and I can SEE this hair line as I'm shaving the back of his neck, and it also eases the glide of my straight razor. Additionally, it seems to eliminate most, if not ALL, of the irritation/redness that comes along with shaving the skin. We use this in conjunction with the after shave/balm, also by Clinique with no adverse reactions.
Recommended, if you don't mind the cost and frequency with which it needs to be replaced. Would like to see Clinique produce bigger size containers of this.

Got this for christmas gift to my boyfriend. He just used it for the past 2 weeks, and he says he likes it alot. The texture of the cream is nice and smell. He likes the cooling effect.

The newest shaver in our family, got Clinque's Essentials of Shave Gift Set as a gift. It includes the Cream Shave which is great for new shavers because it lubricates his skin, so the razor just about slides right over his skin, lift hair for a really close shave. I'm impressed, because so far, there have been no nicks or cuts. This seems to be much better than drugstore brand shaving creams. I even tested it out myself out of curiosity, and I find that it really is excellent.

I started buying my husband Clinique men’s products to see how he would like them compared to the cheaper brands he is used to buying for himself. Well, he loved this shaving cream. He said it really did make a difference in how close of a shave he received and doesn't get very many nicks and cuts anymore. It's nice to not see him running around while getting ready with little pieces of toilet paper stuck all over his face where he would cut himself while shaving. I've finally got him convinced that you get what you pay for because he actually asked me to order him some more when he started running low. By the way, it also has a nice fragrance.

My boyfriend won't use anything else!
I work for a competitor of Clinique, but I still use most of their products.
My bf is acne prone and oily. He has tried all kinds of high end shaving creams. This one is the easiest to apply, has the cleanest smell, and gives the closest shave. It lasts forever and ends up being the same price as discount brands in the long run.
I love his baby soft face!

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it. It makes shaving easy and moisturizes the skin as well. It doesn't dry out the skin after use and the item lasts pretty long. I would say that he buys a new one every 2 months on average.

My husband is always in a hurry and grabs the first thing in sight. So, I use this for shaving my legs. If it can hold moisture to a corse beard, then just imagine what it will do for your legs. Shaving is smoother and so is my skin. I recommend this for a man or a woman. Works like a charm. Clinique is safe for most skin types so just purchase this for his birthday, father's day or whatever ocassion and use it for your self. What a way to buy a present and kill two birds with just one stone.
