Ivory?
-06.17.13
Who would have thought that a product with 'ivory' in the name would be so dark? I should have gotten a lighter shade & intend to do that immediately. Review to follow when I have the right color.

Could Be Great
-05.16.13
Quick Take: buildable coverage
This could be great if offered in colors for fair skin. Creamy Glow which appears to be the lightest is way too dark for fair skin. The coverage is definitely what I was looking for, sad :(

Great Coverage!
-05.13.13
Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing
This foundation applies excellent coverage, but the only downfall with this makeup is that it is too dark. I bought the lightest one and it is still too dark. All the other foundations by Clinique match my skin-tone except this one, which is a bummer because this is my favorite foundation so far that I have tried.

Best Coverage!
-04.08.13
Quick Take: long wearing
I've been using this foundation for about a year now and I get complimented on it almost everyday. It covers any imperfections (including dark spots and redness), and lasts all day. No concealer is needed with this amazing foundation! I love it!

Outstanding Coverage
-03.25.13
Quick Take: excellent product! five star on coverage!
This foundation is amazing! Excellent full coverage. Can be used as a concealer as well with minimal blending/patting required. The ivory glow shade is a little darker than expected so I had to also order it in creamy glow through Clinique since it wasn't offered through Sephora. I will keep the ivory glow for summer months though. Overall excellent purchase. Great at covering blemishes and dark spots!

Great Coverage
-01.23.13
After buying expensive foundations, I finally found the one for me. This foundation provides the right coverage and perfect color. It is thick but like I read in the other reviews I used a primer and it goes on great. If you want coverage this is the one for you.

Years of experience :)
-01.03.13
Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, oil-free
I have used this for 14 years. I have some scars on my face that I've had all my life and they disappear with this product. It is also great for blemishes, redness and under eye circles.

NOT FOR ME
-12.18.12
Quick Take: thick, mask like, has spf, limited shade range
I was hoping this would be a substitute for the Almost Makeup Clinique discontinued. I was aware that it is a thicker formula, but since I like cream foundations I decided to give it a try. I found the color a little off but it is somewhat blendable. What I didn't like was the consistency...TOO THICK AND MASK LIKE for me. I can see where this might work for someone who needs major coverage and SPF though, hence the 3 stars.

Quick Take: effective
I love Clinique products but this was the WRONG color for my skin so I just returned it. Might replace it later. Clinique;s makeup works well on my skin since it is natural looking and covers well. Recommend the pore minimizer, feels and looks great.

The best coverage!
-11.20.12
Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing
I have very oily skin and tend to break out more during the winter months. This is the perfect foundation! It not only conceals flaws and pores but also help control oil. I love the matte finish and also love the way this foundation is buildable. A little goes a long way and you really only need a small amount to get a nice, full coverage. Plus, its reasonably priced! I can't recommend enough!

Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, full coverage, dark, moisturizing
But terrible color selection. All were too dark. I can't find another foundation with matching quality which doesn't break me out and is in my color ):

Thick and stiff
-10.18.12
Quick Take: long wearing, oil-free
This is a great full-coverage makeup that hides EVERYTHING! I started getting acne in my late 20's when I quit the pill, and now I have acne scars that cheese me off! This stuff is fabulous, but it's hard to brush around. Worth the effort, though. I am going to use this from now on as long as they keep producing it. It also covers freckles, redness, and my big pores. 'Creamy glow' matches my skin color almost exactly too! Which is hard since I'm irish and mexican.

okay

Quick Take: cakey, wears-off easily
I purchased this product because of the good reviews but do not wear it if it's hot outside. It will cake and settle into your fine lines (well it did for me). Also the makeup would get on my clothes and my kids shirts when I picked them up. I do wear primer also. It does cover well but I would recommend another product that doesn't cake or wear off so easily.

This product is great at concealing but if you get just one shade off of your natural tone, you'll look like a cake face. I also recommend using a primer with this foundation to keep your face from looking like it's dripping in glistening paint.

Clinique Continuous Coverage
-09.13.12
Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, oil-free
I love this makeup. I have normal to oily skin even though I'm almost 68. I thought it would make my skin look greasy but it deoesn't. It camouflages all my imperfections (in my pereception), i.e. old acne discolorations, reactive rosacea. I had gotten a sample from one of the department stores since my local Sephora doesn't carry this foundation and immediately after trying it, I went and bought the product. I have a girl friend who's used it for years and people compliment her on her skin and she's a little older than me. I would definitely recommend it to a friend who has the same skin issues as me. Maybe it's not for teenagers who have breakouts. I did read among the reviews that it's got oil, but that's not true. I looked at the packaging for the ingredients and there's no (mineral) oil in it at all!

Been using for decades
-09.13.12
I have dark under eye circles and have been using this product following an eye moisturizer for over 35 years now. It is the only thing that I have found conceals the tired looking eyes. I was sad that they don't carry it at my local sephora but will continue to order it online. A little goes a long way.

Personally I don't think that the product was that great.
I have olive skin and got the lighest color, which is still a little too dark.
It went on very thick and I felt like my pores looked HUGE. But it lasted all day.
A little defiinately goes a long way.
I don't plan on buying it again.

Clinique Continuous Coverage foundation
-09.01.12
Quick Take: long wearing, oil-free
I've been reading the reviews of this product on this website and on Clinique's website. I was reluctant to try it at first because I was led to believe that it's only for dry skins. I have normal to olily even at 67. But then I decided to try it anyway. I got a sample of it and I loved it, enough to buy the product. Unlike some reviewers who thought it was "cakey" and I can't figure out why, I found it smooth, fantastic coverage for old acne marks and tendency for rosacea. With this foundation, I don't need an extra concealer like I did with even Redness Solutions makeup (it's a good one also, but not quite enough coverage). If I think I need a llittle extra coverage I just take a little concealer brush and add very little on the spots. Otherwise, I just use my fingers (clean hands, please!) to spread it. So there you are. Normal to oily or combintion skins can wear it also! I do set it with a loose powder and do touchups during the day with Perfectly Real compact powder/makeup. Hope this helps some of you make a decision, based on your oily skin.
