Quick Take: non-drying, exfoliating
This is the only Clinique skincare product I like. Most of their stuff is loaded with mineral oil and/or alcohol, and my face doesn't react well. Try it if you want some chemical exfoliation action without cray amounts of moisture-stripping alcohol. My aversion does not apply, however, to most of Clinique's sunscreens and makeup. Anywho, this is a keeper.

This blows all the other Clinique clarifying lotions out of the water! It contains no alcohol, and it is very gentle. I have super sensitive skin and rosacea, so this is a plus!

I really like Clinique and I'm not sure why--I cut them a lot of slack and always come back to some of their products although I have to be careful with sensitive, combo-dry skin. I would never use any of the other clarifying lotions by Clinique because they contain alcohol. Clinique sales reps can be really pushy about you needing the toner for your skin type but go with your gut, and with the documented science--alcohol, no matter what your skin type, is damaging to skin health. It is especially bad for drier and sensitive skins in any amount, but it also tricks oilier skin into producing more oil based on the false sense of dryness it achieves artificially. This is a good basic toner that won'y dry or irritate and although I'm not always sure how important a step it is, it does make my face feel more "set" after cleansing for other stuff. Right now, I alternate using this with the Liquid Facial Soap Mild and very careful, occasional use of the Acne Solutions Cleansing Foam (the only Clinique acne product my skin can handle in any amount.) Clinique should listen to their customers and advertise this option more, and also offer the bigger bottle sizes of it.

I always get compliments about my face looking so fresh. I send them to clinique, i have been using their products for about 10yrs now. I am 43 and i still get id , love it.

I started using Clinique one year ago and it made my skin better, I started with the 3 step kit and after 11 months my bottle ran out, so I decided to do a little search because I didn't like the toner that they had, it was very strong for my skin, so I'm using for 3 weeks and it's amazing!

Have sensitive, acne prone skin and this is amazing.. It does the job of the toner without the irritation! It also doesn't dry out my skin which is crucial during the winter months.. Will purchase again!

i use it after cleansing with Clinique Facial liquid soap extra mild. Very mildly exfoliates my slightly dry slightly sensitive combination skin and feels like a great prep for my non-clinique serum and Clinique even better makeup. Would probably not be mild enough for really dry skin.

I love this toner. In combo with the cleanser I use from Clinique, it makes my skin so silky smooth. This is the only version of toner from Clinique that doesn't contain alcohol, so it's not irritating or drying. It sinks in quickly, and provides a tiny bit of moisture. The best part, it cuts down one step of my skin routine, because it also has salicylic acid in it - so it also treats acne. I have mildy oily skin, and it hasn't caused any breakouts. Love it!

This is probably the best, most effective toner I have ever used. It is alcohol-free, yet has salicylic acid in it which gently and effectively treats minor breakouts. It also helps balance my skin and loosens any blackheads I currently have to be cleared out of my pores. I would never recommend any of the other toners from Clinique to anyone, though. All of the others have alcohol in them. Despite what some people may think, whether you have acne or not, alcohol does more harm than good to your skin.

If you have very dry skin that leads to flakyness but also have rosacea, this would be perfect for you. I use it morning and night and i dont have flaky skin which makes it easier for me to apply makeup. Please never stop making this.

Unfortunately I not only have really oily skin but unbelievably sensitive skin as well. This product is the only one that has ever worked for my skin. I’ve tried many other products but no matter the brand or how moisturizing it’s supposed to be anything else just makes my skin burn.

Quick Take: gentle, thick, moisturizing
This toner is really really gentle. It has this cool glittery, metallic quality to it and it is this weird thicker consistency compared to normal toners. I feel like this toner actually does something for my dry skin rather than just getting it wet like I feel other toners do. I will definitely buy this again!
