Quick Take: great gentle but works for a smooth shave.
He says it makes for a great shave, and doesn't irritate his sensitive skin a bit. He won't use anything else. It's hard to find and Sephora doesn't always have it. Sometimes we go to Sephora, Macys and Nordstroms to finally find it. We always start at Sephora!

Quick Take: inaccurately described
The description says "A dual-purpose moisturizer for all skin types." and "Applied after shaving, it hydrates while aloe soothes skin, working to improve its overall condition." They are WRONG. This product is meant to be used "while" shaving. I called Clinique when I received it and realized that it was basically a shaving cream and they said that the description is inaccurate and the product should only be used as a shaving cream. This review is not a reflection on the product since I wasn't able to use it.

Quick Take: cooling, soothing, scented, moisturizing
It has been my husband's favorite since I gave him a skincare set for Christmas that had a sample size of it.
He is amazed on how little he needs to get a rich lather foam and on how smooth his skin feels while shaving. Definitely worth the price.

My husband has used for years. He will not use anything else. Gives him a smooth close shave. Might seem expensive but a little goes a long way. One last him 4-5 weeks if not more.

I buy this for my husband. It's a great shaving product. He has a tough beard and this glides right through without the nicks. Tip for women -- great for shaving legs.

My husband has been using this product for a while now and he actually likes using clinique products. He's in the military and has to be clean shaven everyday, so using this product helps his skin to stay moisturized even while shaving all the time which irritates most skin types.

One of the Best Men's Shave Products

Clinique M Shave Gel is the best men’s shave gel, hands down. No matter which products I try to use, including expensive soap/brush combinations, I always return to this. In fact, I have used it for over 20 years, and only occasionally use anything else. For guys, cost is typically a concern, and I found a little goes a long way. Plus, its unique combination of aloe for moisture and chamomile (matricaria) for soothing put it light years ahead of drug store brands, even if they seem to be similar “rich gel” formulas. Plus, M Shave Gel has sodium hyaluronate, nature’s moisture binder, which may help explain why it also comforts during and AFTER shaving. The packing is uniquely lightweight and ideal for business travel. I say save your money on anything else and buy the best, which is this shave gel. It will treat your skin with TLC and won’t break the bank. Clinique got everything right with this one!

My husband has been using M Shave for years and loves it. I was only able to buy a single bottle rather than 2 as stock was depleted. I had also intended to buy Lorac eye primer and it was also out of stock. I had made this trip specifically to Sephora to buy these 3 items and use my $15 off purchase card. Didn't happen.

I started buying my husband Clinique men’s products to see how he would like them. He liked this gel, but wasn’t as impressed with it as he was the Clinique “Cream Shave”. He loves the “Cream Shave because he said it really did make a difference in how close of a shave he received and doesn't get very many nicks and cuts anymore. It's nice to not see him running around while getting ready with little pieces of toilet paper stuck all over his face where he would cut himself while shaving. I've finally got him convinced that you get what you pay for, but in this case he asked me to return the “M Shave” because he likes the “Cream Shave” so well.

Plain and simple this is the best shave gel out there on the market. I used products that were more expensive and less expensive than this but this beats them all. You don't need much so it lasts a fair amount of time and I shave almost everyday. This shave gel has solved my problem of razor burn and ingrown hairs since it shaves so smoothly and well. Does not dry out the skin one bit. Also its fragrance free which is a huge plus. The best part is that now with this gel I just shave with the grain and get the most smooth and comfortable shave, before I would have to shave with the grain, then against and sometimes even re-lather and shave again later on in the day if I had some where to go. So it is also very good for moderate/heavy beards like mine. Keeps shadow away longer than others. Overall its basically the best and oh yeah its also oil free which is a life saver for my acne prone skin. So as you can read from my review this one product does so much for me. Go and get it!!!!!!

My boyfriend gets razor burn, has sensitive skin, and has a very thick beard all of which leads to him dreading his daily shave. I bought this on a whim, he is not a product guy but after the first day he was thrilled! It lathers nicely, smoothes sensitive skin and left his skin beyond soft. This is truly an excellent product.
