I haven't used Clinique lipstick in many years but saw this by while standing in line to purchase other products and put it in my basket. It does seem to last longer than I remember. The color is a little too coral. The name is chocolate pink, but should be named chocolate coral. At first is goes on smoothly and is creamy, but as the day goes on, it seems to dry out somewhat..

I love this lipstick! The color is perfect with my red hair and it's a delightful matte that stays on. I often pair it with a bit of gloss. I wish more colors were available, though. This one is fairly dark. A lighter shade might be nice to have, too.

I feel that this color would look good on any woman, any hair color and any skin tone. The color is a dark coral. The color is in the warm family. I can wear this in the summer and in the winter. If you don't want to wear red all of the time in the winter, as a holiday season color, then this is a great alternative. The color is long lasting. I put it on once and it stays all day. I can reaply it for a deeper color if I want to. The lipstick is creamy, matte, and long wearing. It moisturizes at first, but as all lipsticks, when it wears throughout the day, it dries out. But I wouldn't call this lipstick drying. I have very expensive lipstick, $38 per tube and it's very drying, so Clinuque has a great product for a great price. Clinique is a great brand for lipsticks as you an play with the colors, but not pay the expensive price. I have always worm Clinique lipsticks since I was in college. When I wear my warm colors, browns, etc., then I wear this lipstick. When I wear my cool colors, pinks, etc. then I go to my soft nude/pink lipstick. Hope this helps.

I didn't like this lipstick at all. The color looks awful and it magnifies lines in my lips. And it feels like it's very drying. This was a waste of my money.

Great for Winter

These are a more bold color lipstick than the stains, but I love this color. So much like my natural lip color. It is just a bit "much" for day wear. Will use it for dress up and night time. Still need to blot it, though.

I've tried lip stains and other long lasting lipstick and I've always been disappointed with out dried out they make my lips. This lipstick surprised me by melting into my lips quickly without drying them out. Plus, I could put balm over it during the day without losing the color. Fantastic! The color is a perfect neutral for work. I just wish it came in a fun "going out/date night" color as well.

First time to order this and will be my last. I love how creamy it is and the matte lip color that remained. However, I hated the chocolate pink color on me. I thought this would be a perfect color for my dark brown hair, green eyes, and med skin coloring..but, this went on even with a light hand and blotting very dark...and even with gloss on top, the color on me was just not right. Should have been a winner, always look for these type of colors and they never fail me, but, this one did.

This lipstick is everything you could possibly want. I tend to touch my lips often so I wouldn't be able to give an honest opinion on it being long-wearing, but the formula is amazing. It's creamy, doesn't bleed, and is as matte as possible. The colors provided works really well with all skin tones, and is very pretty. The one I have is Pink Chocolate, it is so lovely. One this I would recommend is applying Chapstick before using it, it looks caked if you apply an excessive amount onto dry lips. But overall, LOVE it!

I was apprehensive about ordering this lipstick since it didn't have color choices but Clinique & Sephora rarely disappoint so I gave it a shot & I am very pleased.
I'm fair with freckles & gray eyes but can imagine the pink chocolate as very flattering on any woman.

but it does stay on! This has much more pigment than most Clinique products I have tried. It feels great on the lips, too. I gave it 4 stars only because the color is a little too deep to be the everyday, go-to lipstick I had hoped for, which is no fault of the lipstick itself. Just be aware that this offers a lot more matte but creamy coverage than most..

I like this lipstick. It is affordable, matte yet moist, and lasts a long time. I am tired of shiny, sticky feeling lip gloss. The color would probably work with many skin types, and for my older lips I am happy there is no bleeding which can be a problem with darker colors.
