Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing, long wearing, smooth, great color, for everyone
Oh my goddess of cosmetics! this "almost lipstick" is not almost perfect, it IS perfect :) Its smooth and even feels moisturizing(win-win!). I wear it pretty much everyday in "black honey". It says sheer but there is def a beautiful color! I highly recommend to anyone of all skin tones :)

Quick Take: moisturizing
I was looking for a plum tinted lipstick and this was my choice amongst a few. My main reasons for liking this was that it was really moisturizing and i really liked the almost lipstick line after getting a sample from clinique! It's a bit sheer but buildable! it's also got a very sleek packaging and fits nicely into a small wristlet for going out :) very pleased w this purchase!

I got this as a sample and wasn't sure if I would like it but after trying it I did like it a lot and went and bought the full size. The color is dark but not overwhelming at all. I love how it makes my lips look naturally dark.

Black honey is very moisturizing and not too dark, very sheer and flattering. I got "Shy Honey" because I thought it would be a nice light option. Unfortunately it donesn't stay soft- after about 20 minutes it feels like my lips are dry.. which is not the case with Black honey. Weird right??

Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing
This is by far the best lip color I own. I tend to shy away from lipstick unless I'm going for a night out, and I dislike the sticky, goopy feel of lipgloss. This is a perfect middle ground for me. I already have quite pigmented lips, so one swipe of this gives me a nice berry lip, without looking overdone. It's also super hydrating, at least on my lips, and I find I don't have to wear chapstick on the days I wear this. However I do find that by the end of the workday it's mostly worn off, so it's not the longest lasting. Even so, it's my go-to lip color from now on!

What I like most about this stuff is that it really is gloss in a stick form. The color is sheer but not very long-lasting (not like Clinique's long-wearing gloss with applicator). That's really the only downside to this stuff. Would love to see more of a peachy color added to the line up, but all of the colors are really sheer and wearable.

I got one of these as a free sample, and I really like it. I thought that it would be too dark for my complexion (I am really pale), but it looks great. Like the description says, this lipstick is sheer, so on the lips, the color isn't no where near as dark as the color in the tube (though I do think the color is a little buildable).
Besides the great color, the testure is really nice and even a little hydrating. The only downside is that I don't think that this is particularly long-lasting. I wore this out to a quick dinner, and when I got back, all of the color was gone.
I am really tempted to buy another one of these in a different color

Like a lot of the other reviewers, I was skeptical of the dark shade of the lipstick, but it comes out as a perfect berry shade on me. I don't know how it looks good on everyone, but it does! My sister, who's a lot tanner than I tried it on when we were at a Sephora store recently & it looked great on her. She ended up buying one too. It's a definite must-have in your repertoire!

I love Clinique Almost Lipsticks. I wore Black Honey all the time back when that was the only shade that Clinique had. It keeps my lips soft and smooth without the lipstick-y look. You can use a little or a lot depending on the look you want. I have this in Shy Honey, Spicy Honey and Tender Honey. Love them all!

I laughed when I bought this full size, then got the sample size as well in my order. But it's perfect that I can keep one in my bag and one at my desk.
This is an old staple that I love. It doesn't stay long on your lips but it IS a gloss so that is how it goes. It looks dark, but it is very transparent. More layers make it darker yet still glossy and not lipstick like). I also notice that it seems to have a different look on different people. I have used this high school (15 years) and still love it...and it still seems modern.
Clinique may not seem like the hottest brand - but I appreciate that the packaging, quality products stand the test of time. This is a good buy and a good look. I continue to buy it year after year...

Quick Take: versatile, moisturizing
This lipstick is my new go-to lipstick. It's a tamer version of the 1980's mood lipstick. The color is a mellow neutral that goes with anything I wear. It's also glossy, so I keep it in my coat pocket, my purse, and in my makeup drawer to apply whenever my lips get a little dry. It looks great without looking overdone.

I received "black honey" today in a mini sample and I absolutely love it. I'm not into sheer lipsticks and this is def one, but, it looks very natural, and it helped me with my pale skin to not look like a zombie..

I could not be happier with this lipstick.
I was using the more expensive coloured lip plumpers when this Clinique 1st came to as a free Sephora sample. I tried and quickly purchased, i.e., it's since replaced my other lipsticks.

The colour is current without being trendy, i.e., It's a nice mixture of matte and shine and the depth of the colour because the colour goes on light and saturates with each layer, the colour is as deep or merely suggestive as you want it to be.
Again, great lipstick; I didn't know that any make up so inexpensive could be so perfect.
