Quick Take: long wearing
I love this eyeliner. It goes on smooth and can last all day without fading, smudging, getting oily, etc. I only use it on my top eyelid since the crayon-type eyeliners tend to smudge on bottom. I'd go with a dyer, pencil on the bottom.

I wish the quickliner went on a bit darker and more smoothly with a consistent color delivery. I don't think I'll try this pencil again. Just not as silky as I wanted.

Quick Take: smudgable, long wearing
I switched to using the Quickliner after years of using liquid eyeliners and was surprised how much closer to my eyelashes I could get the line. It looks much more natural, too. You almost can't tell I'm wearing liner unless you compare it to the other eye before I line that one.

The last liner you'll ever need

Even though I'm a huge fan of clinique, I'm a creature of habit and once I find something I love... well, it's it ain't broke, why fix it? I was a buxom eye liner lover through and through... until I got this. I don't know how I didn't use this for so long. Long wearing, long lasting, smudges when you want the smokey eye, doesn't smudge, when you don't. Rich color! I'll be getting this in brown too!

Cant get it to go on very well on inside bottom lid. Too waxy to glide nicely. Also very difficult to advance the eyeliner by twisting the tube.

Inherent issues with this eyeliner

I love Clinique. It is my brand of choice. But I'm somerset disappointed with the Quickliner. I have both the Black and Black/Brown. I have two issues with the quickliner.
Problem 1: It smears throughout the day. It goes on nicely, but an hour or two later, I find it smeared under my eyes. I don't live in a very humid area and this happens in the winter too (I live in the frozen tundra).
Problem 2: As some others have mentioned, the mechanical device to twist the eyeliner up is extremely difficult to work with. I had to untwist the pencil and force the eyeliner through, which made me waste a giant chunk of it. And it wasn't just one of the two, it was both.

I was disappointed with this quickliner from clinique. The description and reviews I read stated it was long wearing. I did not find that, smeared after a couple of hours. In addition some of these "stated" self sharpener pencils do not give a well defined line. It also did not stay on inside of eye.

I've been using this eyeliner for years. I like this liner for a number of reasons: it comes in lighter colors for those who do not want a heavy liner look, it does not require a sharpener, it stays on all day, it has a smudge tip for those who want that look, it doesn't irritate my eyes, and it is matte-- for those who are not interested in sparkled liner.

Nice pencil, bought for use on brows

I bought this in Smokey Brown, but to use for my eyebrows since I have a hard time finding a cool-toned dark brown pencil. Overall, I'm quite happy, especially since it is on the firmer side. The color is nice and doesn't skip. Haven't used it on my eyelids yet, but imagine it will be nice. I love that this is a twist-up, as sharpening-requiring pencils seem silly and wasteful to me.

the best eyeliner ever

I have been using this eyeliner for I don't even know how many years but I have never found anything I liked any better- it goes on so easy- creamy but doesn't smear- no sharpening ever needed- you can do a thin line or use the blotter end to make it look more like a shadow- love the color choices too
