A classic, but still the best!

Quick Take: soothing, moisturizing
Clinique launched one of the first men's skin lines in the 1970s. I've tried every after-shave balm on the market. Many of them (i.e. Anthony, Jack Black) are too thick. Post-Shave Healer has the perfect consistency. It's very soothing and moisturizing. It's a classic, but it's still the best!

Quick Take: soothing
Clinique has always been a brand that my family has come to associate with excellence. For me this product stands out because it doesn't burn or sting when I apply it to my skin (which is highly sensitive) nor does it irritate it like some other brands.

My husband LOVES this post-shave healer and has been using it for over ten years. A little goes a long way. After shaving, it calms the face and redness disappears. No breakouts or ingrowns. I have used it occasionally when waxing my upper lip. I have sensitive skin and this stuff reduces the puffiness after waxing as well. Highly recommend.

He's been using it several years now. His skin is somewhat sensitive and used to be acne-prone. This is the only thing he'll use. His skin looks so beautiful and smooth after he applies it... he goes from electrical engineer to metro hot after he uses it.

My husband is African-American and his facial hair curls so he gets a lot of ingrown hairs, this moisturizer has helped so much with keeping his face smooth and free from bumps. He has tried a lot of different brands including dermatologist precribed meds and his sckin has never been better!

my boyfriend use to get really itchy and he had a few red spots on his skin after he shaved. but once he used this, it really made his face more soothing and soft. it's not as rough as it was before.

The Post Shave healer is designed to be used on skin that's just been shaved to soothe dryness and razor burn. It's also designed to help with healing of cuts and nicks. This product was a gift to one of our sons as part of the Clinque's Essentials of Shave Gift Set, who has been using a few other Clinque shaving products. Because the other products are so good, my son hasn't experienced any nicks or cuts. My husband, however, occasionally gets a nick, and my husband found this to be very soothing. It also works well on windburn.

I've been purchasing Clinique men’s products for my husband over the past few weeks because I told him at age 47 he needs to take care of his skin. He absolutely loves this aftershave lotion. He said he likes that it doesn't smell strongly and that it doesn't burn or sting his face like the drugstore brand he was using. I used to hear him grunt and groan when applying his drugstore brand aftershave because it hurt. Since he's been using this lotion there has been no groaning or complaining. He said it also makes his face feel soothed, refreshed and soft. I can tell how much softer his skin is as well. This is one product that I know he will continue to use faithfully.
