Quick Take: refreshing
Another Clinique product that I have been using forever. I just love the way it makes my skin feel. I usually wash with Clinique Facial Soap in the shower and then user the Clarifying Lotion when I come out. I just feel like I'm starting with a clean slate after that. Love this product!

Quick Take: refreshing
I've been told I have great skin, and that's without make up. I have been using Clinque Clarifying Lotion #2 for THIRTY years and am still a devout fan. My skin just feels great after using and it allows my other products I use after work that much better.

Quick Take: refreshing, acne treating, non-drying
I originally thought the alcohol scent was too much and too harsh, but after using it a few times, it was easy to adjust to. This toner does a great job of refreshing, soothing, and cleansing the skin. My skin is just not quite right without it! I definitely noticed less shiny, and less breakouts when I use this toner. And no matter what other brands I switch to, I always end up coming back to this!

Quick Take: non-drying, refreshing, thoroughly cleansing on pores
This is one beauty product I swear by because it clears out all the makeup or dirt left in my pores even after washing my face. I use the clarifying lotion on a cotton pad, and after I wipe my face & neck, I can see the stuff that was left in my pores even after using a makeup remover and a separate cleanser.
As a related note, I started using BB creams a year ago, and (while I absolutely love the BB creams), I find that they tend to "stick" in my pores more than my old moisturizer + foundation combo. So I've found that the Clarifying Lotion is even more important for clearing out my pores when I've put on BB cream.
Also, my skin is sensitive & I'm very, very fair, but this lotion has not given me problems.

This works great to ensure a true deep clean. However, I will purchase the Clarifying Lotion 1 next time. The 2 is alittle to strong for my skin.

A staple in my daily routine

Quick Take: refreshing, non-drying
I've been using this daily for almost 3 years now. I apply this with a cotton ball before my moisturizer in the afternoon and then after washing my face (also before my moisturizer) at night. I love the cool, tingly feeling it leaves behind, so refreshing. Over the years I've tried many different products for my face, but this is the one constant that I always use daily. It's also probably worth noting that I have very good skin, rarely getting breakouts (and a breakout for me is 1 or 2 blemishes), and I'm sure that this has something to do with it. :)

Quick Take: allergic to witch hazel
Clinique NEVER lists ingredients. So now I have to go to a Sephora store.....about an hour away to return this product that has witch hazel in it! No one at Sephora or the website knew the ingredients! I would have never ordered it, had it listed the ingredients. Why don't they? I am boycotting them, till they list the ingredients on all the websites! Especially Sephora, whom I love!

I use this Clinique toner with a cotton ball all over my face after washing my face, and before moisturizing. It does a great job of cleaning my pores and leaves my skin feel tingly, fresh, and clean. I highly recommend it!

Love this - love that it is fragrance free. Confused as to why it has artificial colors in it. Wish they would remove the colors - they're unnecessary and allergenic. Love how it removes flakes though.

Not for Sensitive Skin

i work at a beauty counter, and i decided to give this product a try because i have very sensitive skin and use strong acne medications from the dermatologist. However, i started breaking out like crazy, turns out this is the only toner that contains MENTHOL, which my skin did not like, so be careful if you are prone to breaking out from menthol.

I am a 42 yr old, fair, red head with combination skin, super oily T-Zone once a month ;-). I highly recommend this product. I've been using it for about 20 years and I love it. I've tried switching to other products, but always come back to this.

I have been using this toner for years! It really cleans up any leftover makeup and dirt after washing my face and makes my skin feel spotless! It doesn't dry out nor does it make my skin too tight.

i received this in a four day kit with the cleanser and moisturizer. I can say, this really does make a difference. My makeup goes on very smooth with no flaking. It feels a little medicinal with the cooling/mint feel and smell but not bothersome. I'll be purchasing this soon.
