I have combination skin, very oily nose with dry cheeks. This product works great for the winter months. I also like the gel, lightweight, great for my skin in the summer.
I would like to see this Clinique moisturizer be available with SPF protection.

My purchase was a disappointment; because of the product's exposure to heat & closeness to the hot lighting in the store, I feel the product was affected and not as fresh as it should be -- scent was off, too.

I know, I know, everyone loves this lotion but I have tried it and don't like it very much at all. I have to really rub it in a lot to get it to spread evenly on my skin otherwise it looks all caked up on me! Also it is not oil free so not ideal for my skin type. Maybe I'll try the gel form instead.

I was having problems with winter dry skin, and i got this as a beauty insider sample. it saved my skin immediately. it made my face softer than a baby's bottom...i had to purchase the full size right away. it has NOT made me break out, yet, which is awesome because i have very acne prone skin. i believe this would be better for combo/dry skin, i dont think super oily skin would agree with this product...

i love that there is no smell at all. Some products "claim" to be fragrance free, but this one truly is! Does not leave my face feeling sticky or greasy. Dumped my Hope in a Jar for this product. Love it!!

This is my least fav Clinique product- 03.13.10
Quick Take: absorbs quickly
I love Clinique and use everything except for this one. I like the moister serge much better. I guess you pay for what you get, and this is probably a more affordable product. I did use it for about a year, but it didn't do much for me. I am addicted to the moiser surge and the repairware night cream!

Quick Take: intensive
This lotion is runny and it is greasy. But ya know what? It works. If you are getting ready for your day and your face is very dry, even peeling, and you want it to look good, try this stuff. You'll probably want to blot some afterwards, or even after applying all your makeup, to remove excess shine. But you will also be amazed at the results.

I feel as though the consistency of this product is somewhat watery, silky and very thin. It feels as though a layer of silk has been applied to your skin. I find the price to be great, especially since you get a nice sized bottle. As for moisturizing, i feel that there are better ones out there, and my skin doesn't feel as soft as it could right after, but the next day, my skin is deffinitly soft, i guess it takes time to set in.

I have never been big on buying top brand moisturizers, I actually have somewhat oily skin, not dry. But I read the reviews on this one and I have always been a fan of Clinique products in the past, so I decided to try this...I feel in love! Although I do not apply it on before makeup because of my oily skin, I apply it every night paired with the "all about the eyes" eye cram. I started using this about 2 weeks ago, and I see a big difference in my skin tone. I have always been one to never leave my house without makeup, nor am I 100% comfortable with how I look with a bare face, but ever since I have been using this I LOVE how it makes my skin look even without make up. I have not broken out since, and it has evened out my skin tone. The moisture sinks in your skin. When I do wear makeup my skin looks dewy and soft...I get complements ALL the time! LOVE THIS! Get it! Don't wait!

I've been using this for over 10 years now. When I was in eighth grade, I went on Accutane (a very harsh acne medication) as a last result to years of severe acne. My skin was so dry and cracked! I tried everything, and they all burned my face so much I would cry. Straight petroleum jelly was the only thing I could wear to moisturize and prevent cracking, but looked so greasy. My mom recommended this. I tried and was in love. I went off Accutane a few months later, but this is still the only moisturizer for me! It feels soft going on and sinks in leaving my face feel moisturized, but not greasy.

This may be effective but it is so heavy, you begin to sweat immediately after putting it on. I absolutely hate this product. I had to wash it off I couldn't stand it.
