Quick Take: lightweight
I don't really care for this, I like the lotion better. When i use the lotion i can just feel my skin drinking it in, when i put this on my skin still feels a little tight. I am still going to use it under my makeup, but I won't rebuy it.

I used Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion in high school and through college. It has always been a reliable and effective lotion. When Clinique released the gel version I was ecstatic, as my face is combination-oily. It is a great moisturizer! Light-weight, fresh and even minimizes lines around the eyes. It also helps with sunburn and peeling.

Great lightweight moisturizer. I have combination-oily skin and this leaves my face feeling moisturized and fresh but not too oily. Sometimes my face wash can leave my face dry so before I put on foundation I put this on and it helps prime my face.

I had a very oily T-zone, and every time I put this on, my face would feel softer and moisturized. Also I have less breakouts (I didn't have them often to begin with, but I still got pimples once in a while).
But I recently found out this product had parabens. I have a 3.6 fl oz. one which I'm about 1/4 of the way through...as much as I love this lotion/gel, I don't think I will get another once I'm done with the one I have. :(

Honestly, this is one of the best moisturizers for oily/combination teenage skin. Unlike most moisturizers that claim to be sensitive-skin-friendly, this one feels gentle when applied and glides onto your skin like a sheet of cashmere. I genuinely feel like it absorbs well into my skin best right after a good shower and scrub with my Mia. I'm not a big beauty hull genius, but I do recommend this moisturizer to anyone with sensitive, oily skin. Heck I gush about it to my friends too.

I've been using Clinique's moisturizer FOREVER! When this formulation came out a few years ago, I gave it a try and love it. I use it sparingly since I am VERY oily (I mean VERY - and I'm 55!). It's lightweight and does a nice job when I get flakey (insert joke here). I use it daily on my throat and around my eyes in addition to an eye serum. It's nothing fancy, but does a nice job of moisturizing. Now if they'd only add an SPF it would be a 5-star product. If you want a simple moisturizer without bells and whistles, this stuff is for you.

This is the perfect warm weather moisturizer. Deliciously light weight but you don't have to use more than a small amount for all day. I use this for a night time moisturizer all year and for daytime in the warmer months because it is non greasy.

A nice light moisturizer that doesn't make me break out. Doesn't do anything drastic, but for the price, you cant beat this. Goes on light & smooth, doesn't clog poors & works well under makeup.

I purchased this because I recived it a a free sample before and I was impressed so I had to buy the bigger bottle. it is a very lightweight gel and great for oily/combo skin. sinks right in and does not leave a greasy feel behind. non irritating. no smell and has been great fo my sensitive skin. also I use the oily facial soap and acne cladifying lotion before hand. and I will use the scrub three times a week. a little goes a longway as well. highly recomend.

I went from using a drugstore-brand moisturizer to this Clinique Gel, and I'm so glad that I did! This moisturizing gel does exactly what I want it to do, without over-moisturizing and causing excess oil. It absorbs into my skin so quickly, without ever making me feel dry. Because I have combination oily skin, I've sometimes struggled with finding a moisturizer that didn't make me feel like a greaseball, but this does exactly what I want it to. Plus, it's super affordable, considering some of the other moisturizers Sephora sells. Overall, a great product, but if you're looking for something with a deeper moisture-factor, I'd recommend trying the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, or the Korres Greek Yoghurt Advanced Nourishing Sleeping Facial.

I've been on the search for the right moisturizer for the longest time. I have combo oily skin (mostly oily in my t-zone and cheek area), as well as sensitive skin. So I thought Clinique would be perfect since it combats all of those areas. Apparently, that's not the case. I've used this product from winter through spring and in both cases, it has dried out my skin. In the winter, I saw small dry patches in my drier areas of my face. And currently, my upper t-zone is the place that's a bit dry. If i put on too much, I feel as if I have a mask on. Too little, and my face is too dry (and eventually oily...). No matter how much I apply to face, I'm just not a happy camper.

As you may know, Clinique is not the greatest about making its ingredients known for its products. So I am here to tell you that this oil-free moisturizer includes sodium hyaluronate, which I understand to be the same thing as hyaluronic acid. HA draws water to the skin, at least in non-dry climates. Haven't used it long enough yet to give it 5 stars, but I am hopeful!

I have combination skin and get hives at the drop of a hat. I have used probably every lotion, moisturizer, gel,and oil on the market. This is my most favorite ever! It's more than a moisturizer. It actually calms my skin when it's inflamed and itchy.
