Quick Take: good value
I wore this cologne about 20 years ago. I bought it again, (I'm 45 now) and I love it even more. I agree with some previous comments that this is for an older guy, approximately 35 and up. Nevertheless, it still smells great and a little goes a long way. So, to each his own. I love it!

Quick Take: great value, high school, a cousin to axe
it reminds me of axe body spray. but some men like that. if your looking for a dry down that almost all musk this is for you. Throw is a green tea and lemon top note and you've got Ralph Lauren green. Maybe a great gift for a son or nephew that your not around very often : )

Quick Take: reusable, good value, classic, long-lasting
My father has been wearing this cologne since I was a child. He refuses to wear anything else. It is very masculine and woodsy. The best part is that it's long lasting and you only need a small amount for an entire day. For those, giving this a bad review, or those looking for reviews, I say keep in mind this is a fragrance, each fragrance appeals to different people, the best way to know if you really will like it is to try it. Other than that, I do agree that this scent is more for the older gentleman.

I ordered this remembering how much i loved it in highschool 20 years ago. There is no way it is the same. The scent is more appropriate for an older gentlemen, say 100. PU- had to return it.

I tried a sample today, and it smelled amazing. It smells exactly how a man should smell, clean but woodsy. It's a extremely masculine. It's a classic but it still is good for a younger guy.

Quick Take: distinguished, original
This was my brother's favorite back in the 80s and I liked it well enough as a kid. Then I married a man who wears the original, and I am surprised that I really like it - maybe some sentimental value, but I still really love it on him. It is quite masculine, and quite different from more modern scents, so if you're a Polo person, nothing else will do; if not, you will never get it.

Quick Take: smokey unique mellow
This cologne was first introduced to me when I was 18. A young man my age was wearing it, and he always smelled so snuggly, powerful, and sexy! Not many younger men wear such a distinctive, smokey scent, and every time I catch a wiff of it I am cast under some spell. This fragrance is not for the faint of heart, not that it is strong nor overpowering, it's simply that even as a classic it is a unique scent. I always double back when I can tell a man is wearing this because he is obviously more than simply a "surface' guy.

I got this for my boyfriend and he loves it! He said he wanted a more manly scent and when I asked what scent is "manly" he specifically named this scent. It made the perfect christmas gift. I like his sporty scent a little better but this is great on him too.

Quick Take: masculine, refreshing
Polo has been my husband's long-time favorite fragrance that he has worn for many, many years. I have been bringing samples home of different men's fragrances for him to try, but he always ends up wearing his Polo. It is a great, masculine fragrance that neither he nor I ever tire of. It's one of those scents that is appropriate for any occasion and/or mood. It smells like a truly masculine fragrance and I don't think my husband will ever give it up, which is OK with me because I have always liked the way it smells on him. It's refreshing without being overwhelming. It's been around for many long years so that says something about it right there. I'll continue to bring home samples of other fragrances, but I think that little green bottle will always be in our bathroom cabinet forever. It is a wonderful fragrance that never gets old and boring.
