Very disappointed, it doesn't soothe/heals my shaving irritation,. There are better aftershaves from Sephora. If you have sensitive skin, try using a balm (thick consistency), compared to this lotion.

GREAT FOR RAZOR BURNS AND EVERYDAY SCRAPES, TOO

Quick Take: cooling, soothing, long lasting
My husband has a problem with four o'clock shadow and used to get razor burn when he tried to get a really close shave. He started using Lab Series Razor Burn Relief Ultra over a year ago, and one of our sons soon followed his lead. I scraped my knee this afternoon. Each and every time I bent my knee, it burned/hurt badly. I tried everything in the house that I could think of, and nothing was offering any relief. When my husband came home from work, he suggested I try the Razor Burn Relief Ultra. It worked instantly. If it worked this well on my knee, it just has to be amazing for razor burn. We all highly recommend this. (A little goes a really long way so the container lasts for a very long time - we're still on our first one).

Quick Take: soothing
Husband likes this product due to the fact that he has sensitive skin and bumps up easily after shaving. It did help to soothe and soften his face.

This post shave lotion is the best on the market. A bottle will last you a long time, you only need a small amount. If you want a lotion that actually soothes, calms, and hydrates your face instead of just saying it will, this is for you.

My husband has a problem with four o'clock shadow, and has found that Lab Series Maximum Comfort Shave Cream really worked for him. Because my husband was so pleased with Maximum Comfort Shave Cream, one of our teenage sons decided to try the Razor Burn Relief Ultra at my husband's urgings. New at shaving, our son finds that this helps when he has razor burn. My son is happy with this and has recommended it to his friends, who are also new at shaving, and somewhat good at irritating their skin. This is ideal for teenage boys who are new at shaving. According to my husband, it's good for all men, too.

I've got sensitive skin and it doesn't prevent razor burn like I need from an after shave product. However, it does moisturize and leave my skin feeling very soft. I like the smell.

My husband loves everything about it. His neck skin is usually irritated after electric shaver. Now he applies the product in the evening and in the morning there is no redness. He used to buy after shave lotions with every perfume because he does not like different smells to mix up. Now the problem is solved. Every time we pass Sephora department in a mall he wants to come and buy more bottles of the product. He is afraid it will be discontinued one day. I wish the bottle were bigger though.

My husband has tried a lot of products, including Shiseido -- which he likes -- but for a fraction of the price and similar effectiveness, he likes Lab Series. When he ran out just before Christmas, I had to raid his Christmas stocking to re-supply him, then order more for his stocking stuffer. All around: Good stuff. Non-oily. Calms razor burn. Really works.

I bought this product for my husband and now he uses it daily. Which my husband won't even wear facial moisturizer so that says a lot for this product - it works. I tried it after shaving my bikini area and any discomfort that I was experiencing, was gone. This is a wonderful product for men and a women as well.
