Quick Take: natural looking
The texture of this foundation is very different, but that's what makes it look so natural. I've found applying with fingers is best. I have no trouble with streaking or drying too quickly to blend. This seems perfect coverage - evens tone without looking cakey or thick. I love it!

To start with, the color match was excellent! unfortunately the ladies who work at sephora weren't very helpful because one was trying to push a Dior product I wasn't interested in and another one was totally mismatching me...so i decided to take matters into my own hands and matched myself....i used this foundation for my wedding and i looked great throughout the entire event...Thanks MUFE!

This makeup stinks...as in has an odor. It smells like yucky cheap makeup, but the smell seems to go away after a while. It goes on very thin and needs to be finished with a finishing powder or it looks too shiny. Doesn't cover well. But is light weight.

This foundation is excellent!
I apply it by putting an amount about the size of a pea (which is more than enough as a little goes a long, long way) on the back of my hand and using the Sephora foundation brush to blend it over my face. The soft beige (Shade 1) is perfect for my skin tone and even though I have oily teenage skin it does not clog pores or make me break out. The big bottle lasts for weeks on end, even used daily, and does not transfer on to clothing or anything and I rarely have to use powder to set it. Definitely a must have! (:

Wonderful Foundation!- 11.06.09
Quick Take: dewy, natural, evens out skintone, perfect amount of coverage
I love this foundation. I wear 38, and it is hands-down the best foundation I have used. I keep trying cheaper foundations, but I invariably come back to this one. I have been using it for six years now! (One of the only products I used in high school that I still use!) When I first used this I wore it with a primer; I don't anymore, but it still wears excellently. I know some reviewers feel like this doesn't last on their skin, but this stays put and looks nice all day and overnight for me. I get compliments on my skin all the time when I'm wearing this, because it looks like my skin; it is very natural while still evening out my skin tone. It has a nice dewy, glowy finish without being sticky. It is pretty sheer, though. You can build up the coverage, but what I choose to do is use a heavy-duty concealer where I need it (on my under-eye circles and on my nose to cover redness) on top of this foundation; keeps things looking as natural as possible. This is great stuff; my mom eventually started using this after she tried mine, and that was after she had spent two years switching foundations trying to find the perfect one.

Tricky to use- 11.03.09
This is pretty tricky to use because it is water based (sinks in quick, so you have to work fast to avoid streaking). I use it on my decolletage to cover up some marks, but still have to use a concealer as well because coverage isn't enough.

It has a very unusual texture, but that is what allows you to build coverage without it caking up--at all. I love that. Looks so pretty when you put it on. Very natural. However, it has no staying power. If they could fix that, I'd use it. After few hours, I looked lousy. What a shame.

GREAT 4 OILY SKIN~GREAT COLORS~GREAT COVERAGE- 10.28.09
I usually dislike foundations that claim to have "buildable" coverage, because it usually isn't true. But with this foundation, applying a 2nd layer really does provide double the coverage--full coverage. The consistency is amazing--watery yet gel-like. It does not settle into fine lines or enlarged pores. I use my fingers to apply it. You have to spread it fairly quickly since it is water-based, but it's just emollient enough that this doesn't become a problem. I think the colors must run pretty light, because despite having very fair skin, I use color Porcelain 2, which is several steps up from the lightest color. In most lines, I need whateve the lightest color is.

I tried the MUFE HD foundation last time and it was good, but didn't love it as much as my usual Face and Body Makeup, so I switched back. This gives a natural, slightly dewy finish and truly lasts through all weather, humid or dry.

Quick Take: perfect foundation
This one fits all my idea about a perfect foundation. It is texture is strange, I have combination skin, this foundation works for me in BOTH summer and winter. After having this one, I don't need to change foundation according to season.
I also like it gives you the option to apply on really light to have a barely there look, or layer it up to have a good coverage.
When time is not much in the morning, could even apply it on in the same way of applying moisturizers, and it still blend in perfectly.

wonderful foundation- 10.09.09
I thought this was a great foundation. A little bit in the cap, then dab a foundation brush in and apply. It's light, doesn't budge, and photographs amazingly well. Also easy to touch up throughout the night. It doesn't cover EVERYTHING. Major booboos will require a little extra care. I used it for my wedding and together with the duomat powder and the MUFE concealer had a perfectly flawless look. I had no issues with drying or oil. May be due to using the primer and hydrating elixer first.
This is my all time FAVE foundation! I make sure to shake well before using and apply with a foundation brush for even coverage. It has a lightweight texture that is perfect for my super oily skin, but it is also buildable when extra coverage is needed. I am also very blemish prone, and this foundation has never caused a breakout. I have also tried Make Up For Ever's High Def and Matte Velvet Foundations (which are also great products) but still go back to this one. I was slightly concerned when I read that it contains mineral oil, but this does not seem to affect my skin texture or moisture levels. It's also great for people who are sensitive to SPF. This formula is SPF-free. Love Love Love!!
