I bought this item because of all the great reviews. It seems there was a mix up when I opened it. Inside the box was Yellow Gold. A friend wanted the color so I gave it away. Hoping to try this color soon.

I really like how easily this goes on. It's a loose powder that can be applied with the fingers. I use this white/purple color on my brow bones to make them stand out. It looks cool. I wonder it if can be used elsewhere on the face? Cheekbones perhaps? I'll try.

Quick Take: sparkly, fun
I love the star powders - but it's hard to pick the right color online. I recommend you purchase in store where you can see the powders in person. I ordered the iridescent gold - it looks more silver/white on than gold.

MUFE little "piggy pots" (aka:out-of-use/order pigment pots) are the art supplies of studio & runway make-up artist..nevermind Hollywood..think "Moulin Rouge" and Les Follies Bergiere..the love-struck artists dans tous le monde (everywhere). Few people can use this 1st time 'impromptu'. Do NOT be discouraged! Sephora's make-up experts can guide u, new techniques & pigments/textures premiere constantly, Sephora has access 2 celebrity m.a. (makeup artiste) "how-to's", let alone, MUFE reps who know their product like the alphabet. Maquillage IS really an art oneof studies. People r au makep artiste's canvas. Sans mots ou artifice - weu r walking works of art. MUFE..supplies for art & artistes (we all start somewhere..sometime. Cache quelque choses? ;-)

I got this in iridescent fuschia and white mauve for a night out dancing. WOW. It is really saturated color and the iridescent fuschia was the brightest pink eye makeup I've ever seen. I wore bright blue eyeliner with them and got so many compliments! I have trouble with eye makeup creasing on my oily eyelids usually, but this stayed all night with a primer. My only complaint is that even after using waterproof eye makeup remover, my eyelids were stained a little pink for a couple of days. It was kind of pretty, so not much of a complaint, but I can see how it could look gross with some other colors. Maybe it wouldny happen if i werent sweaty and dancing. I ordered more (daily use friendly colors) right away! I wish I had a picture that showed more of my eyes!

This is exactly as described. Very sparkly but not obscene. Has a nice peach undertone. The sparkle isn't little girl. It gives off a.nice sheen. Great for highlighting upper lid or inner lid or an all over shadow.depending on mood. Very happy with this.line. I so far have 2 shades.

A pretty duochromatic shimmer powder.. If you blend it out too much, it will completely disappear (which is convenient for rogue fallout), All in all, it is pretty. But not really worth the price.

I love the MUFE star powders! I was afraid it would be too sparkly for daytime, but it isn't. I wear the irridescent pale peach powder daily (on eyes with shadows from UD Naked 2 palette), and it gives the perfect amount of pop. I bought this particular color in stire at the recommendation of a consultant. I had wanted the gold, but the consultant recommended the pale pea h to go with my skin tone - light with pink undertones.

I have 6 shades (hot pink, turquoise, blue, light green, gold, medium dark brown) all shimmery btw. They are all SO pigmented, so shimmery and BEAUTIFUL (it's prettier than looking at the milky way..almost). There's also a LOT of product, so you don't need to worry about running out. I used to have a matte yellow, but I accidentally dropped it on my carpet (ouch). If you're not a fan of loose eyeshadows, don't bother getting these. If you don't mind loose eyeshadows, I say... BUY THEM!!!

I bought Pearl Gold (902) which is a silvery-white with a very subtle hint of gold. I did not find it to be that 'highly pigmented' but it does serve well as light shimmery powder that is very blendable and is quite versatile for a variety of looks. You can highlight your brow and cheek bones and your cupid's bow as well as the inner corners of your eyelids. My personal favorite thing to do with this particular color is to sweep it over my eyeshadow and blend it to create a light sheen to my look. I have medium colored skin and I like to look a little on the 'done up' and 'glowy' side.

I thought I would try this powder, Make Up Forever has always been a nice product nice price situation. This powder I was happy was not as pinky as the photo but hard to control on the brush. I have to tap a few times or it will look chauky on the face. And make sure the container is closed right or it will spill all over. It's a nice product but will return back to Lorac Illuminating. Has a nicer sparkle for daytime but the powder does not dry out my skin or feel chalky.
