I have finally found a red lip color that will go with my complexion!!! Hands down best lip stain. Just add a little gloss and this lasts all day. Also, the color isn't too over-powering like some stains can be. I ordered one of the last bottles and hope that they get more in before this completely disappears. Escpecially for the price!

Absolutely the best!- 05.06.09
Quick Take: long lasting, great color selections, excellent applicator
I have tried more lip stains then I care to mention and have yet to find one more lip-worthy. The applicator is the best and most precise one I've found. The texture is just thick enough it goes where you put it, does NOT ooze into lip creases (who doesn't have a few?), and layers beautifully. It can be a bit drying, but I go right over mine with a good balm after it dries and I'm good for the day! VL lip stain also has a great range of colors that will help you find one that matches your own lip color undertone so the look will be very natural. I've even layered one of the lighter frosted shades over the solid color for a third option on days I want to wear a smokier eye.

Quick Take: long lasting, color is rich
this stain rocks! it does dry your lips a little but just put a decent gloss over it and within a couple minutes it will look look like a lipstick. The colors are great ! if your a sexy brunette go "with cupid breath" it works perfect for brown tones because its redish but not PINK OR ORANGE eew.

Quick Take: long lasting, natural color
I love this lip stain. It spreads evenly on my lips, giving me a perfect color that will last all day. If you have dry lips, it can excentuate the dryness. I have it in "Cupid's Breath" and it a very pretty pinky coral color. Try this if you haven't found a perfect lip stain yet.

While visiting NYC a few years ago, I stopped in at Sephora on Times Square...where I discovered Vincent Longo's lip stains. I purchased Baby Boo ( a bright pink ) and Liquid Kiss ( a red stain ). These are fabulous and I think I have been using them both for about 7 years. Do make sure you don't have foundation on your lips before applying. I give it a quick shake, hold with product down and pull the wand up from the top...sorry, but some of you seem to be clueless about this! Then, apply to the lips and give a minute or two to dry. I've never had it squirt out the top! I LOVE IT and hope VL doesn't D/C it forever. Amazing with clear lip gloss, gold gloss, whatever..Love it, love it!

I have been on a search for a lip stain that actually stains, and I have finally found it!!! It took me a few tries to find a color that looks good. They were either all too orange or all too purple (I have medium to olive skin tone) If this really does go off the market, I don't know what I am going to do! It's THE BEST!!!

Apollonia is fabulous!- 12.10.08
Quick Take: long lasting
I just got my tube of Apollonia, and it's a deep plum. One coat is dark enough for evening wear, two coats is very dramatic, indeed. I'm a fair blonde, and I enjoy wearing it for special dinners and nights on the town.
I have a feeling it would suit darker (east Indian, African) skin beautifully!

I love this product! It is long lasting, and is really the best stain in the market. It has become unavailable in the stores and the colors are not all available on line. I am very sad to see this item unavailable. People ask me all the time what lip product I am wearing. I put it on and go all day.

Goes On Uneven!- 12.05.08
I bought My Sunshine and really liked the shade but it went on really uneven as a lip stain. The center of my lips looked really darkly stained so it looked like I ate a cherry-red popsicle! This was not what I expected and drinks seem to make it wear off after 2 hours or so. I did like it as a cheek blush - it went on much more evenly than my lips and it stayed all day!

I have this in Baby Boo, which is a pretty berry-pink color - not at all how it's described here, and I love it. I've recommended it to a few friends and they all love it as well. This goes on so evenly and always gives just the right amount of color. It doesn't wear off quickly like Benetint did for me, it really lasts all day. To use it on my cheeks I mix a drop or two with some light moisturizer, I've never had streaking using that method. I really want to buy this in Liquid Kiss, too, please restock!!

Long-wearing but messy and uneven- 12.02.08

I had a hard time getting this stain to go on evenly, which is important for a stain. Once I got it on it did last a long time which I liked. I got it in Baby Boo which was a little more purple colored than I expected. The packaging is poorly thought out and a little messy. When you push the wand back in, stain squirts out the neck a little.

I own three colors Liquid Kiss, Cupid's Breath and Apollonia which says a lot about how much I like it. Every shade is beautiful. I can never wear those sticky, glossy, lipglosses that many women seem to love.
It seemed a bit pricey but, if you love a product then it is worth the money. If I count the number of lipsticks in my drawer that I don't use and how many times I have to reapply all day compared to this then this is a bargain.
Too bad Sephora has stopped carrying this brand all together.

I have tried many lip stains, most of them leave my lips dry and don't last. This one lasts thru the day and all I use over it clear gloss. Goes on a little dark, so I wipe a little off the applicator before I put on my lips.

Quick Take: long lasting, very brown
I love Vincent Longo's lip stains & ordered the color neo aura because all the other colors were out of stock & I thought I might find a new color that I loved as well as the others. Not so much. It's a little too brown for me & seems to require a bit more exfoliation to the lips than the other colors. If you need a brownish lip color, I'm sure you'd love it. It just really didn't suit my coloring.
