Quick Take: natural looking, worth it, shiny or matte, repurchase, lip stain
The color is lovely like the glossy shinny side of an apple, looks natural and supple.
Yes, I would - will - repurchase!
The only problem is that doesn't last very long ( I'm really bad at checking if the color is still there that's why I want a stain, so it's ok if I forget) maybe 3 hours...
But it fades very naturally as well, no harsh lines.
Oh and remember don't apply on very dry lips, the soaks into the driest skin first and then the skin there peels quickly ( not because of the product but because that's what dry lips do, peel).
To have it last the longest, I use a lip scrub so I remove all skin about to peel or dry and then apply.
Don't put anything on lips before stain it can prevent the stain from absorbing properly into the skin.

The lip gloss is tacky and horrible! Its put in as an excuse to charge $20. Would be better if they just did a the tint and high beam.

Good carry-around tint

I love the BeneTint, and it's great to have a pocket sized version. Gloss is not as impressive as the tint, but it's still good. Some people complained about the packaging, but I think you just need to be careful when you open the tint part (not to spill over!). My only complaint is the size/ price. Just wish it was a little cheaper.

Problematic Packaging

Quick Take: long lasting
Overall, the product itself is great. The tint provides a very lovely stain while the gloss provides shiny moisture. If it weren't for the packaging, I would definitely buy this product again. The gloss seeps out of the package, so you wind up with a sticky mess, and it's impossible to quickly apply. As soon as I apply the tint and close the tube, I flip it over so the gloss has time to ooze down—otherwise i get a LOT of gloss coming out of the top when I open it.
In the future, I plan to buy only the full size Benetint and a separate clear gloss. I love the idea of having two in one as with this product, but the way it's done just doesn't work.

Quick Take: glossy, non-drying, long lasting, natural-looking
This stuff is amazing. I've been eyeing forever, it seems, but wouldn't purchase because it's pricey. Finally I broke down and decided to order the pocket pal to try it out. It's fabulous. Seriously. The Benetint is the perfect color for me. I'm fair skinned with blue eyes and dark brown hair and the Benetint is just a little rosier than my natural lip color. The clear gloss is also great - and this is coming from someone who is not a much of a lipgloss fan. It's not too sticky or goopy, and provides a nice shine and polished look. I don't think I'll ever be without this stuff again. It's so natural and perfect for every day wear.

New go-to lipcolor

Quick Take: versatile
Pros: I've pretty much made this my everyday, go-to lipcolor. It's hard for me to find a red that doesn't look overpowering/intense, and I ended up really liking this because I can easily control how much color I want on my lips. I can put a thin layer on for the day for a natural look, or go darker for the evening. I really like how it doesn't smudge the way lipstick does.
Cons: It does tend to dry out your lips a bit. I'm not a big gloss fan so I don't really use it, I just go over it with clear chapstick to hydrate my lips. It's relatively long lasting, but you still have to apply several times throughout the day (ex, after meals). I'm always a bit paranoid I'll spill some, so just keep in mind you have to be extra careful when closing it. The last con would just be that I consider it a bit pricey.

My sister and I always wanted to try this! She bought this since it came with the gloss and was intimidated to buy the Benetint full bottle. I'm not a gloss person so I didn't use it, but I did try the tint and I love it! I applied very little since I was scared that it would make my lips look blood red. A little goes a long way with this product, it made my lips look very sweet/pretty, cherry stained. I applied lip balm/ chapstick after the tint and that kept it moisturized. Next time i'll be buying the full bottle, and try the other colours.

i don't really use the gloss but i love having the tint always hand. perfect for a flushed cheek touch up or a pretty lip stain! be careful when opening it though bc the tint will spill out!

Nice tint, bad gloss

I like the full size Benetint so I bought this to keep in my purse. The tint itself is nice, but the gloss is kinda bleh. It is REALLY hard to get enough gloss out of the tube because of the big applicator and tiny opening of the tube. The gloss is also kinda sticky. I'll use it but I definitely wont buy it again.

Quick Take: non-drying, long lasting, convienient
I had to try this lip and cheek stain / gloss combo. Comes in a handy plastic pouch to prevent accidental spills. A few dots on your lips and cheeks creates natural looking color all day. I work in a high heat, high humidity environment and this stuff really stays on all day. I just reapply the gloss when i go to "powder my nose" and I look fresh as I did first thing in the morning. The stain is non drying so I don't get chapped like I do with other lip stains that go on like lipstick. The color is buildable too, so its good for day wear or going out. I'll be buying the full size products next time. Its good of Benefit to put out this pocket pack to try the products before committing to the full size bottles.

Great lip stain, okay gloss

Quick Take: long lasting
I've used this lip stain for a long time, so I was pleased to see it packaged with a gloss. The gloss is a bit stickier than I would like, so I cannot give full marks, but packaging the two together is convenient. It does take practice to apply the stain well -- it helps if you quickly soften the edges with your finger immediately after applying.

Quick Take: long lasting, non-drying, glossy
Love, love, love this! Great for lips and cheeks. Can go from natural shade to extra pink depending on how many layers you put on.Watery but easy to spread. I havent had any problems with streaking, it blends perfectly and gives me a natural blush. Gloss is ok as a bonus. I got this size as a tester , Im tan skinned so I like natural shades better than reds during day and this complements me perfectly, i'm running out fast. Getting larger size for sure!

Not what I expected

I like the idea of a lip stain. When I went to Sephora to find a couple different shades to take on a vacation (since I don't want to have to worry about re-applying) I found the Cha Cha tint for my coral option and the benetint. The woman who was helping me was very helpful, however there was another sales person near by who chimed into our conversation convincing me this would give me the same level of pigment as my favorite YSL red. I guess some of the responsibility falls on me for not trying it in the store, but I'd think that since they know their product I feel safe trusting their judgement. It's the first time I've purchased something there that I've tried and returned. (Thank god for their lenient return policy.) I think I'll stick with my lipstick and reapply...

This is a nice lip tint, though the taste and smell make it almost unwearable. For my money, the Posie Tint by Benefit is a better color for my pale skin and better flavor.

Quick Take: heavy metal ingredients!
This product was proven by the FDA to contain ~Lead~ Beryllium~ Cadmium~ Nickle~ Selenium~ and Thallium. NONE of which are listed in the ingredient lists for this product. An article was posted on Yahoo from the FDA's research. Heavy Metal poisioning from my makeup NO thank you! Benefit needs to improve their formula and list the actual ingredients on the packaging.
