I've been using Avon's Buttered Rum lipstick for 15 years, and much to my dismay they have discontinued it. Lorac's "Receive" is an exact match! I am a creature of habit, so I have been searching for a match of 2 months. I'm so happy I found it!!!

I finally found my red! The color stays on with the right lip primer, only had to touch up after eating! I love it, I'm going to continue buying once I run-out of it! You should try, you won't be disappointed!

I got this lipstick in "Imagine", which is a kind of muted rose color that I really like. The texture of the lipstick is great - very smooth, non-drying, and best of all - long lasting. I find that after putting on this lipstick, the color lasts for hours. Even after the initial lipstick application color has worn off, my lips have a very nice stained color to them. The color is very natural, and perfect for work.
I am only taking off one star because I don't care for the lipstick fragrance. Other reviewers have mentioned that it smells like vanilla, which is true to an extent. My nose is very sensitive to smells, and although there are hints of vanilla mixed in, the overall smell of the lipstick is weird to me. I would definitely have preferred a lighter scent, if any. Besides that, though, very happy with my purchase! I am excited to try more Lorac lipsticks.

Great lipstick!- 10.27.09

I first bought this lipstick in September, 2008 and wore it on average about 6-7 days a week every single week. I just finally used it all up in October 2009!! I've never had a lipstick last so long before. I just bought another one and look forward to another full year of great, long-lasting lip color.

I ordered this in Imagine because I wanted a more natural color that would give me a break from all the gloss and shimmer and sparkle and sheen that is very difficult to get away from these days. The formula is as smooth and silky as the other Lorac lipsticks, and shares the same sweet and creamy vanilla fragrance. The color turned more to the orange side on me as everything does, but thats perfect as it suits my skin tone better. I truly hope that they expand the colors in this line.

This colour is flattering for my fair skin and blue eyes, especially in winter for a dramatic but not too-made-up look.. The lipstick is matte without being drying. The colour does not last as long as I'd like, but overall this is worth the price and i would buy it again.

I love how truly matte this color goes on without drying out my lips. It's a truly deep pigment without all that frilly gloss or pearlescence. You could almost claim it as your natural lip color!

This lipstick does have a fair amount of staying power. The color is beautiful and very rich and deep. You need to scrub your lips with your toothbrush before you apply it-if you have dry lips as it will highlight any lines or creases in your lips if you don't.

this matte lipstick does exactly what it says it does: gives a matte finish without drying the lips. i spent most of my 20's looking for a lipstick like this and now never have to search again. the color is great (mine is "receive") and lasts all day.
