Well, I'd like to have this AND a cup of coffee in the morning to look AND feel awake! I was amazed to see that this really does brighten your eyes. I apply liberally on the corners of my eyes, above my eyes, on the top of my cheeks, anywhere where I need a little brightening magic.

STAR LIGHT, EYE BRIGHT- 03.15.10
Quick Take: creamy, eyes appear larger!!!, big doe eyes, blendable
This adorable, chubby pencil does everything it claims to do; and more. Not only does it wake up tired eyes and brighten them, but if applied correctly (and sparingly) to just the right spots in the inner corner & eyelid inner 1/3 and crease...Your eyes will appear sooo much bigger. I don't even use eyeshadow anymore. Just this precious pink pencil and some good thickening mascara is all I need.

Quick Take: creamy, color correcting, immediate results, need very little product
Overall a great product. It serves as an instant brightner. Very little product is needed. I usually just dab it on my finger or a concealer brush and lightly dab it in the inner corners of my eyes (on top of the concealer) or just under the brows. I find that if you apply it directly with the pencil it can get chalky. Otherwise I love it.

The concept is good but this always comes out looking cakey and gross on me. I've tried sharpening the pencil, moisturizing, and blending. It just can't make it work.

This product really does brighten your eyes. I draw and blend a "V" shape from my browbone to the top of my cheekbone. Then put a little in the corner of my eye. Would definitely buy this product again.

This is an incredible eye opener. Shades a few years off and shelves the sordid details of your lost weekend. My rotten beef slabs: they use petroleum and you lose almost a 1/4 of the pencil every time you need to shave the point.

I LOVE this product! So much that I ended up buying one for my friend for a special occasion. I first wore it after a late night spent out on the town and it made me at least LOOK perky and awake. You can wear it in the corner of your eyes to brighten them, or below/above your actual eye to make your makeup pop. Plus, I have also used it on my lips to make them appear fuller.

Perfect for hiding dark circles- 03.11.10

I love this stuff when I have circles under my eyes. It's my go to product when I haven't gotten enough sleep the night before. It's also great as a concealer base to cover blemishes. It's worth noting that I'm super pale and tend to get fairly dark circles. I know a lot of people complain that you could probably find an equally good product for a lot less. I'm sure that's true, but I'm yet to find one. My only complaint with the product is that the black paint on the packaging starts to peel off and flake. I have little black flakes in my makeup drawer now.

Great for under eyebrows and cupid's bow!- 03.09.10
I use High Beam on my cheeks, but I like to use Eye Bright along the top of my nose, under my eyebrows and right at the top of my lip on my cupid's bow. It's more than an eye bright, it's a FACE bright!!

New daily staple in my routine- 03.09.10

I'm seldom amazed by a cosmetic product anymore, but this is now a daily essential. I didn't have any problem with applying this product, but I do use Smashbox Photo Finish primer on my face and under eyes before applying any makeup, including this. It glides on smoothly without being chalky as some reviewers said and I just draw a double line around my inner eye and down under my eye. Then I use my finger tip to blend. It will look very white and not a natural skin tone at this stage. Finally, I apply Smashbox HD Concealer across my entire undereye area and the results are fantastic. I look refreshed and obviously the eye area is brighter. But as an added bonus, this product helps my concealer to give fuller coverage so that my natually darker under eye skin does not show through at all, yet still looks very natural and not like I caked on makeup. And you don't feel like you're wearing any additional makeup either. This is a must have product for concealing and brightening under eye area. I can 100% see the difference when I use this product and when I only use concealer. I'm still on the fence about this product. When applied to the inner corner of the eye, it does seem to make my eyes "wake up". On the other hand, although it does match my skin color well, it's too drying and accentuates lines under my eyes so I can't really wear it under my eyes. Also, when I apply it to my waterline I think it is too bright and I have to make sure I smudge it really well. Overall, I like the product, but really unsure whether I would repurchase because it is pricey and I think there may be a cheaper product out there that does the same thing.

Great for under the lower eyelashes and waterline--pretty, feminine brightener, also looks great combined with your regular darker eyeliner-makes my 46 year old eye area look fresh and noticeably "younger!"
