Dot dot dot, and blend quickly for natural looking dewy glow. Dries fast and lasts long. Apply under eyebrows, nose tip, inner eyes, and cheekbones. I don't like it for cheeks, instead for my cheeks I use Dior shimmer in 01 pink.

This works best for people who aren't wearing a lot of other make up on their face. I found that it would smear and mess up my foundation. I personally prefer a powdered luminizer because i feel its easier to control. High beam is a nice color, but definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

this was really pretty when applied with the cheek stain; however, you really have to be careful as it will end up showing your wrinkles or settling right into them making them more noticable. I had to return it because it was too high maintenance for me...

Fantastic Highlighter- 03.06.10

This is by far one of my favorite Benefit products. I first got a sample of it as a stocking stuffer, then I needed to own it. I apply a small dab to the apples of both of my cheeks, then gently massage it in. It provides a soft shimmer without looking overdone. Definitely the best purchase for someone that wants a fantastic glow. Prior to putting it on, though, I like applying a cheek stain (such as Benetint), dust on some Hello Flawless, then apply High Beam.

Most natural and flattering highlighter- 03.03.10

Most highlighters/luminizers I've tested have either had too much sparkle or are an unnatural and distracting colour. But Benefit High Beam offers a subtle sheen that automatically makes you look for healthy and youthful without it looking too artificial. I will definitely be buying this product again, although probably not for a long time, because it seems to last quite a while.

This is a MUST HAVE product! I use it on my cheekbones and nose for a delicate, dewy shimmer! I also started mixing it with my under eye concealer and it has done wonders!! BareMinerals Summer Bisque mixed with High Beam is a MUST for under eye circles! I LOVE the effect and will continue to use these products together!

What is all the rave about this product? I have light skin. I've tried using it a few different ways, and I'm not really too happy. I tried mixing it with my foundation, and it makes no difference at all. I tried putting it on my cheekbones over my makeup, and it ended up showing off my pores, and made me look cakey, and grey. Weird. I do like to use it as a highlighter on my brow bone. But that's about it. I will try something else next time.

This is light and glowy, and gives you that extra special something. It does NOT look or feel like glitter, which gets major points from me.
But I do wish they'd re-design the wand. I know they're trying to make it look like a bottle of nail polish, but the applicator brush could be much more effective if it were shorter or firmer. It might work better if you pour a drop on to your finger and dab it wherever you want to put it.

I love this highlighter. The bottle is cute and helps put as much or as little as you would want. When I just want my face to look awake, this is the perfect solution. Even when I wear my glasses, my eyes seem to pop.
