Its a very nice creamy subtle pink it wont look over made up ontop of base makeup, i use it on my cheeks, forehead and eye lid and crease. Im addicted to it. I totally recomend it actually i recomend all of the beam collection i have them all and its jUst so hard to decide which one ill use hahaha

I use E.L.F. highlighter color Persimmon, so it is difficult o give any highlighter five stars when I spend one dollar on this ELF product and it works amazing.

I have tried several other products to as an illuminator highlight my brow and cheek bones (Nars Orgasm Illuminator, Tarte smooth Operator Illuminator...) but none have been as good as Benefit High Beam. Somehow I get a natural looking illumination, much like all you young gals have right now :-) but I'm almost 44 so I don't have it any more. However, I'm happy to pay for a bottle of it!
The product looks pale pink in the bottle but is natural looking on my skin and just slightly iridescent. Like so many others I don't care for the applicator, but I can live with it. Based on the tiny dabs of product I've been using over the last few weeks I will have this bottle until I'm 60. Maybe they will have something ever better then!
Overall, well worth the money. Excellent illuminator!

a Natural illuminator - I mix it with argan oil and apply dily to my face - it blends naturally, doesn't look glitter and insteads gives your skin a glow - a little goes a long way and it lasts forever it seems! I imagine this would look great on anmy skin tone. No odor to it.

LOVE this product. I use it daily on my brow bone for a sheen/shimmer. It's great to add on to for a brighter look. I've even used it in a pinch in the corner of my eyes and it works great. I have been buying this product for years!

I've heard people say this is the best highlighter and it is totally worth the price, but to me I think $26 for a nail polish - sized bottle is ridiculous, considering there are equivalent or even better highlighters out there.
NARS Copacabana illuminator is the exact same thing, and although it actually costs more ($30), you get A LOT MORE PRODUCT (1.1oz, as opposed to 0.45oz). And in my opinion, Copacabana is more reflective and stays put longer. Just sayin'.

I wanted something to add a bit of light to my pale winter skin. This was suggested by a Sephora associate. High Beam is my 1st ever highlighter. It's ok applied to my cheek bones and nose. I find it either doesn't blend well or blends out so much it disappears. It may well just be my problem as so many others love this. I do like the texture & feel of this. I find it seems to last longer on my nose than my cheek bones. It works well as brow bone & inner eye highlighter. I'm not sure if I would repurchase or how it will do through the hot summer.

I use it one my cheek, brow bones, chin and a little bit on my nose. It looks super natural, I use it sometimes without any foundation if I just want a quick and easy fresh look. It makes my skin glow but not in a fake way, I tried nars copacobana and it looks too fake for me, too much shimmer. Like this one way better!!!

I love this stuff. I always throw it on between foundation and blush, and I use a little even on "no makeup" days. It really makes my skin glow without looking glittery or gross.
Hard to stomach paying that much for it, but I used a 1 oz sample bottle for like a year—so I know it's going to last!

This makes my skin look radiant....something I'd never thought I'd say at my age! It leaves a pearly glow and really highlights the cheekbones and brow bones. Blends beautifully with gentle dabbing. I also use it down the center of my nose and tip of my chin....really finishes off the look. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I love the glow you get from this product, but hate the applicator! I read reviews before buying and have to agree that it's a good product with a terrible applicator. It's in a fingernail polish type of bottle with a brush like applicator. It does not go on smooth with the applicator. I dab some on with the applicator an then use my makeup brushes to get a smooth and blended finish.

This stuff is MAGIC! I do not know how I have not used this before now! Easy to work with, looks great under make up, over make up or by itself without and make up. Blends easily and give such a lovely glow/highlight. I use it on my browbone, on the top of my cheekbones and on my cupid's bow. A little goes a LONG way. Great value for the dollar spent!
