Fresh Rice Dry Oil

What it is:A deeply nourishing and restorative oil for the entire body. What it is formulated to do:After working with their hands immersed in rice paddies, Japanese rice farmers began to realize the regenerative, purifying, and nourishing benefits of rice. Fresh tapped into that power by combining the extraordinary skin benefits of rice grain with a variety of oils and extracts (such as jojoba, rice bran, borage, and grapeseed oils), to create a richly moisturizing skin softener.

Love it!!!

I love this oil! It absorbs quickly so I don't feel greasy and it smells so good. I use it instead of lotion and it has really helped keep my skin nice and smooth.
The only downside is the bottle, the one pictured is not the one sold. The one u find in the store is wider and has a wide mouth opening so it does leak a but when u pour it out. I with they would come up with a different way to dispense it.

Like this product a lot. I put it on after the shower before I towel off. Skin is really smooth and moisturized. I put the oil in a spray bottle as someone else had suggested in their review since the glass bottle made for messy dispensing.

Great Product, Horrible Bottle
-05.03.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly
The oil is fantastic, smells great and absorbs well but the packaging is the worst ever! The bottle designers obviously never tried to pour the oil from the bottle, there is no way to do this without spilling everywhere and making a huge mess.
I would buy this again because it's a great product, but will have to pour it into a different bottle to use.

Beautiful body oil. Lousy dispenser.
-03.05.13
The body oil smell wonderful and absorbs nicely into the skin. A little goes a long way. But the fact that this oil simply comes in a glass bottle means that dispensing the stuff gets messy; I end up wasting more than I'd like on my counter, on the bottle.

Fantastic

This oil is great. I like it better than their other oil scent. It soaks in well and in the cold winter weather my legs feel awesome. I am willing to pay the price or ths product.

Favorite oil ever
-02.13.13
I can't get enough of this oil. Works well without being greasy and the smell is the best - like peaches. I also have the rice sake bath, which has the same fragrance. Wish they would make a perfume with this scent! Or at least a travel-friendly oil or lotion so I can take it everywhere.

light smell & feels great!

I use this right after a shower to lock in moisture on my very dry skin. Soaks in quickly and leaves only a very light pleasant smell behind.

absorbs quickly

This oil absorbs almost immediately. It smells similar to grapefruit. The smell is a little strong and the price is kind of high which is why I gave it 4 stars.

This product smells like a more concentrated sake bath. It is a fantastic moisturizer, smells amazing, and dries quickly! I noticed softer skin after the first use!

I love how this oil makes my skin feel!
-12.22.12
Quick Take: scented, absorbs quickly, rich, nourishing, not greasy
My skin tends to get very dry and cracked in the winter and only the heaviest creams can keep it moisturized. I've been using this oil everyday for a few weeks now and my skin is SO soft - no dryness or cracking even in the cold (for LA) weather. The oil absorbs quickly and doesn't feel greasy. The scent is light and fresh.
My only complaint about this product is in the packaging. As other reviewers have mentioned, the actual bottle does not look like the one in the picture. There isn't a spout of any sort, so keep a towel close at hand to wipe up any spillage.

The oil is light and does absorb quickly...no greasy felling. Just wish fresh would create an alternative pouring option.

Don't let the complaints of the packaging deter you from making this purchase. Yes, if you were to use it straight out of the bottle it will make a mess. Just take my advice, and buy a cheap, small drug store brand spray bottle and transfer the oil into that. Problem solved, and you don't waste any product. Simple fix people!

Absorbs quickly, moisturizing, and lovely scent
-07.08.12
Quick Take: scented, absorbs quickly, moisturizing
I tried this one day in the store bc my hands were dry. On the drive back home, I noticed how soft my hands were, and what a lovely texture they had. As if I put oil on them, but it dried...appropriate name for the product!
I returned and bought the bottle, and am very happy with it. I use it after I shower, and the scent is gorgeous.
Yes, the bottle is glass, which is unlikely to change, because often essential oils cannot be stored properly in plastic. The molecules are absorbed by plastic. But I agree that the cap should be modified so it can be replaced easier.
As mentioned in other reviews, the bottle pictured is not the same as in stores. The bottle I bought is short and stocky, without a narrow neck. I don't know if the pictured bottle is a new or old version.
Even with the container design flaw, and the steep price, I would still repurchase this. It's effective and luxurious.

New container, please?
-06.29.12
Quick Take: difficult to dispense
Liked the oil okay... But the container (glass) with the screw on lid was not easy to use. It's awkward to have oil poured in one hand while trying to place the lid back on! Plus it makes a mess around the rim of the bottle. Returned it just for that reason! Needs to have a pump or spray for easier use, even if they think it's not as "appealing"! Easy to use is an important selling factor!

Love the Rice Oil
-03.21.12
Quick Take: absorbs quickly
Though I can't get enough of this oil, I agree with others who don't like the bottle. the bottle I bought at the Sephora store is different from this one, I don't like it at all. I bought another dry oil from another company and used it up. I bought the rice oil to replace it. I still had the bottle so I poured the rice oil in it and spray it in my hands before putting it on my body. I love the light fragrance. The oil does wonders for my skin.

First time trying this product. Very awkward & messy pouring out of bottle. I like the idea of spraying it - as other reviewers have noted. I'm hoping this product will work for me - we'll see.

Love quality and scent, hate bottle
-03.05.12
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, non-greasy, smells amazing!!
I have been a fan of all things "Fresh" for years. I love the Rice Dry Oil, but really hate the bottle! I have only used it twice and it spills down the side and is just plain messy -- I am tempted to return to my local Sephora and and see if they have a spray attachment...? It used to come in a spray bottle, so I wonder what changed. For $48.00 (and because Fresh is a quality company) I expect a little more regarding the packaging.

Love the Rice Oil
-02.06.12
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, softens my skin
I've been trying oils on my dry skin and think they work better than lotions. This is the latest one I've tried and I'm so happy I did. It's not easy to get it out of the bottle without getting too much or not enough so I put it in my bottle with the spray pump and it works fantastic. I can just spray it in my hands and put it where ever I want it. My legs, arms and chest are feeling softer than ever.
