This delicately foaming, therapeutic soak increases circulation and body temperature, inducing a purifying sweat to eliminate toxins. Sake also contains enzymes that hydrate and smooth the skin's appearance. It is further enriched with pine extract, which promotes easy breathing and pure ginger to render muscles pliable and relaxed. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Sulfates- Synthetic Dyes- Phthalates- GMOs- Triclosan What else you need to know:"For centuries, Japanese Geisha have used sake and rice to exfoliate the face, detoxify the body, and regenerate and smooth the skin. To keep our bathing ritual authentic, we incorporated pure sake into this unbelievably detoxifying formula." Alina Roytberg, Fresh Co-founder

Amazing
-06.17.13
Quick Take: scented, moisturizing
This was the most luxurious soak I've ever had! The scent is beautiful and it softens skin very well! I felt like a queen in the tub! The only downsides for me were the price and the parabens and chemicals in the ingredient list. I understand the need for preservatives, but I wish the ingredients list was a little more natural sounding.

This bubble bath was a gift from my boyfriend. It smells delicious. It does not bubble much, but it leaves my skin soft and really helps me relax.

Overrated
-01.16.13
Quick Take: foamy, scented, moisturizing
This is a nice bath soak. Smells lovely, gives you dense, lasting bubbles, makes your skin feel hydrated and comfortable. I've used it a couple times now, and while I enjoyed my baths, nothing particularly magical happened. I waited for it! But my heart rate didn't accelerate, I felt no detoxifying effects, and angels didn't come out of the sky playing harps. There's just nothing extraordinary about this product that warrants the exorbitant price tag, in my opinion. I did feel relaxed and sleepy afterwards, but I do from any hot bath before bedtime.
I love and use many Fresh products, but this was one purchase I wish I hadn't made. Frankly, I get more enjoyment out of the Lychee Sugar Bath. It smells just as nice and lingers on your skin much longer, and is 1/3 the price.
Unless I find myself with money to burn, I wouldn't repurchase this product.

Relaxing moments that pay off!

Quick Take: worth the extra pennies.
This item pays off in so many ways. Relaxing, fragrant, skin softening, and detoxifying. Perfect before bedtime to set the mood for more than just sleeping. Skin is rejuevenated. Sake rice fermentation for drink and skin has been proven to brighten and restore beautiful skin. That's why I also use SKII skin products.

Best. Bath. Product. EVER!
-12.26.12
Quick Take: foamy, scented, moisturizing
The price is high, but if used as directed (two capfuls) it will last a very long time. I love the smell, it is luxurious, exotic, spicy, and sweet. The most noticeable tones being peach and ginger. It foams up and the bubble dissipate rather quickly, but it does soften the water much like a bath salt would. I recommend filling the bath with slightly warmer water than to which you are accustomed, and simply sweating it out. Hydrate after you leave the tub, otherwise after one of these baths I usually feel very clean and very sleepy, and I smell good, which is just excellent :D

Good stuff, but price is way too high
-12.12.12
I got the large bottle, thinking if I liked it I'd save money in the long run. I did, in fact, like it. I think it smells good (not amazing, but pretty good), it made my skin smell nice, and it was nice and relaxing in the bath.
Some other reviewers said to follow the directions by ending your bath with a cold shower... I tried this and it didn't really do anything a cold shower by itself wouldn't do. Doesn't really make the product magical. Surprise! Cold water makes your skin pink ("glowing" haha) and temporarily tightens up your pores. Not bc of Rice Sake Bath. Also, it kind of ruins the nice relaxed feeling of the hot bath by jumping into a cold shower right afterwards...
Despite this, I still liked the product.
...However, the price is wayyyy too high. If I didn't get this with a 20% off coupon, I'd have given it an even lower rating! For their price point, they should give you more product. You have to use kind of a lot to achieve bubbles. I don't think the bottle will last more than 10-15 baths before it's gone (and this is their large bottle). If $80 is nothing to you, then yeah, 5 stars. If you work hard for $80 and expect something really good for it (or, in my case, for $64), 3-4 stars.

pure decadence!!
-11.23.12
Quick Take: indulgent
I received a sample of Fresh Rice Sake Bath several years ago, and have been longing to buy it ever since -- it's one of the most indulgent-feeling baths you'll ever take. The problem? The large bottle is around $80. Imagine my surprise when I was in Sephora for their V.I.B. sale and discovered Fresh has created a smaller, more affordable version!! I was over the moon. An associate told me you only need to use two capfuls of the precious essence for a soaking bath, so I plan to ration it carefully.

Awesome Bath Soak
-11.18.12
Quick Take: moisturizing, scented
I tried this last night and can't believe how wonderful this product is. I did hesitate because of the price but extremely glad I decided to go for it. This and the Rice Oil together are the best products. My skin has never been so soft and smooth. I highly recommend.

A MILLION STARS!!!
-11.07.12
Quick Take: scented, luxurious, restorative, bliss, worth every penny
This product is out of this world. When I first saw this on this site, I hesitated because of the price. But after reading so many positive and enthusiastic reviews (and after I got tired of other soaks that stripped my skin of moisture), I decided to get the $80 bottle. And boy am I glad I did.
This is a TRULY rejuvenating soak. But let me say this again--this is a soak, not a bubble bath. Don't expect to be smothered in a billion bubbles. But do expect to feel completely new again. Just a little bit goes a very long way.
TIP: The first time (and just a half hour ago, the second time) I used this, I cleaned my face with water (but if you have make up on, remove that with a make up remover), and spread some of this out of the bottle and on to my face, while standing in a hot shower. After a few minutes, I took a wet towel and just laid it against my face and dabbed off the product. O MY GOD. My face was actually shining!!
Buy this ladies, you will not be disappointed. And be sure to come back and leave a review like I did, so that other people buy this too, making this available for sale for a long time to come.

Not worth the money
-03.24.12
I LOVE the smell of this, and have been waiting to indulge myself by spending that much money on "bubble bath". Unfortunately, it simply isn't worth the money
Smells great. Bubbles don't last. Definitely not worth $85. (Shhhh, don't tell my husband I spent that much) I'd spend $25 or $30 tops.

So luxurious!
-03.07.12
Quick Take: light scent, moisturizing, luxurious
This is an amazing bath product! It provides the perfect amount of bubbles that don't dissipate too quickly, and leaves skin feeling very soft and moisturized. The consistency is like honey, but you don't leave the bath feeling sticky.
I love the scent - it is really hard to describe because it's not like anything else I've ever used... but it is super light (I am pretty sensitive to perfumes and this did not bother me) and actually smells more like real sake than I expected! All in all this product is a new favorite for me and I will definitely be buying more.

Not for everyone...until EXPERIENCED.
-01.30.12
Quick Take: an attitude adjuster...to be shared !!!
As an older fella I rarely even condsidered bath oils. Most were meant for children or women around my home.
But after walking into a Sephoras in Vegas, again, I asked to be helped. Quickly, I was convinced to give it a try.
While I knew from school the skin is a body organ, as a guy, I never considered an overall health benefit from a bath!
Simply pour and count ten to twelve seconds. Read the box...do it. It makes a difference, take the plunge and share.

VERY RELAXING EXPERIENCE....
-01.15.12
Quick Take: relaxing, skin-softening
I had already experienced the benefits of the Sake Bath when a friend previously gave me a small sample. I'm so glad to get my own in the Sake Bath and Candle Set. What I liked about it is that it smells great, and is very relaxing, but doesn't leave my skin with the heavily lubricated feeling I get from some of the bath gels I love. This is a lighter feeling, which some people might not be used to. This is more of a relaxing "soak" and not so much a greasy production. The bath smells like fresh summer peaches, and the water foams ever so slightly (not like a bubble bath). A Sake bath is supposed to help raise body temperature to increase circulation and increase the release of toxins. While this didn't cause me to sweat, perhaps because the water might not have been hot enough, my skin definitely felt softened when I got out. (Next time I'll use hotter water). A cool shower helps to complete the experience. There are also ingredients which help to ease breathing and help to relax muscles. I have to say that a Sake Bath is extremely relaxing, which I think is in part due to the aroma- therapeutic properties of the product. This is one of those experiences that can also be shared with spouse or significant other.

Pure Luxury
-12.29.11
For a truly indulgent bathing experience, I can never recommend this product enough. The price seems exorbitant at first, until you consider that its ingredients include real sake, pure pine extract, and ginger root, plus several oils and fruit and vegetable extracts.
As one bathes, filling the tub with very hot water and adding the sake bath, one sweats out impurities, thus detoxifying the body and replenishing nutrients from the natural oils and extracts in the bath. Active enzymes within the sake itself soften the skin, slough off dead cells, and return skin to a state of evenness and health.
Ginger root relaxes muscles, while the scents of pine and peach are breathed in through the bath steam, easing breathing while the body detoxifies. Apricot kernel oil, sesame seed oil, valerian, radish root extract, and melissa all act as herbal support to the skin's rejuvenation.
A treat for the senses, this decadent soak smells beautiful, feels sensational, and leaves skin feeling refreshed, renewed, and soft as velvet – making it more than worth its price tag.

GLOWING SKIN
-12.01.11
Quick Take: detoxifying, luxurious
OH. MY. GOD. This stuff is amazing! I used 4 capfuls of this for my small tub. It didn't seem nearly enough for the scent to linger, but it did produce a fair amount of bubbles, which was a relief because I like my bath water to be softening rather than being swallowed in a sea of soapy foam. I used warmer water than usual per the instructions to help with the sweating and detox and it really did make a difference! I soaked for about half an hour followed by a cool rinse. My body felt like it was radiating warmth after toweling down (in a good way).
I wish the sake and peach scent was stronger and stayed on my skin, but I love the effects this soak has on my skin. This treat seems to be quite expensive but I can see it lasting at least 20 baths..so it's actually less expensive and more luxurious than my usual $7 bath bombs.
However, with the 38% (roughly 5 ounces) sake in this entire bottle, it measures to 1/4 of an ounce of sake per bath following Fresh's suggested usage. I plan to replicate this bath with real bottles of sake poured into my bath water for an even more effective bathing experience sans the high price, but 20x the efficacy. Hope this helps those who wish to experience a genuine sake bath. =)
(Oh, and don't forget to smash some fresh ginger to dunk in the tub to sooth muscle tension!)
